I stayed mid-week in late July 14. I travel a lot with work and very rarely do I experience such a warm, welcoming establishment. Linda was great - offering advice on where to venture in the evening; she recommended Broughty Ferry for somewhere to eat and she was bang on the mark. My room (No4) was spotless and the bed...

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Aberlaw Guest House. The room was very clean the bed was comfortable. Despite being on a busy main road, our room at the rear of the guest house was quiet, so we both had a good night’s sleep. The bathroom was spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good – my wife...

We stayed at Aberlaw for 5 nights just before Christmas 2013. The festive lights on the tree in the front window were very welcoming, as was the host, Linda. The room we had was spacious and very comfortable. It was great to have a sofa to relax on in the evenings. Our room was cleaned everyday and tea and coffee...

6 of us stayed here - we all agreed that all B&Bs should be like this. Warm and comfy rooms, plenty of extra bedding if you like sleeping under a heavy cover, and a marvellous breakfast. The landlady was great fun and came to chat to us when we returned from work. She was extremely easy-going and didn't mind us...

We stayed for eight nights and we were warmly welcomed by Linda. The room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent. Linda recommended us a few places to eat in the evening and they were good. If I visit Dundee again, I will certainly try the Aberlaw first.

The rooms had a lovely interior and also had a bathtub. The host was extremely friendly and gave us a lot of tips about what to do in the area. It was also possible to pay vie credit card, which was rare on our journey. The B&B is situated on the main road to the city center, so it takes...

I stayed at Aberlaw in late May when I travelled up to Dundee for a conference. I received a warm welcome from Linda (the owner of the Aberlaw) and on arrival she upgraded me from a small single room to a much larger twin room, as it happened to be empty on the night that I arrived - a really...
