Met a couple of friends for dinner during the week. We reserved a table as we know it’s a busy place. We were warmly greeted as we entered and the staff were lovely! As we headed to our table the fire in the dining area was on making it nice and cosy. The barman who served us was Nathan and he was so attentive making sure we always had drinks and checking our food was tasty! It most certainly was, I had fish and chips and the fish was delicious and massive! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a bite to eat or even a wee drink! Big thanks to Nathan who went that extra for us and made it a perfect visit!

We visited "The Fisherman's Tavern" on Sunday 19th February for 5 nights, The room was spotless cosy and good sized, we were in an accessible room and the bathroom was huge. The menu had a good choice and the food was delicious and the service was first class. The staff were friendly, well mannered and could not do enough for you. Definatley well worth a visit.

This is the 4th time that we have stayed here. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent as is the evening meal with a good choice of menu. The staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. The area itself is excellent with plenty of walks, and the town is so quaint. I would also recommend the Bruach Bar for a meal.

Just the best pub. I don't know where to start. We're here visiting and our place is on the same road. Met so many great locals, dig friendly doesn't even go close to the reception our Fox Terrier got, us humans were also made to feel part of it all. Great food, they even made a puppichino for the dog and a late night request for espresso martinis was met with not a no, it's not on the menu, but a , let's try. They were amazing. Shout out to Brendan. Thank you so much for being the best advert for the Ferry.

Short one night stay. Food in restaurant, very good pub grub Stayed in Room 3 - above kitchen which has a large noisy extractor fan. In addition a further very noisy, vibrating intermittent fan or water pump keeps cutting on & off - at first thought it was some sort of electric tools being used in nearby room. Do not stay in Room 3. On plus side, there was a fire alarm late in evening but was impressed by the professional way the staff dealt with the situation - they are obviously well trained in that respect.

Thanks for your high rating, it means a lot to us. Room is above the kitchen so the fans do run during food prep and service, we are looking into the level of noise . Thank you again for letting our team know how we did during the alarm, we all strive to give our best service at all times. We look forward to helping again in the future. Take care!
