Lovely warm welcome from Michelle when we arrived and the room was spotless. Small bathroom but very clean with everything we could need. Our room was cleaned everyday while we were out and our fridge was restocked with new croissants, ham and cheese. We also had plenty of milk, orange juice and tea. Although it's a long walk to the city... More

We stayed here while we went to some Fringe shows in August. We parked our car just around the corner and caught the bus into town which was really convenient, although we did walk in one day and stopped off at the Museum of Modern Art. It was a bit of a long walk so bus is better. We had... More

I have stayed here on numerous occasions and so have many people that I have recommended it to. I have yet more friends staying here in August simply because I know that the welcome will be huge, the sleep will be amazing and it's the cleanest place that I have ever stayed in. No wonder they have 5 stars.

Booked late so can't complain too much (rugby weekend) but generally a bit disappointed with the small room(although expressively decorated) at the back. As breakfast is continental and the items kept in the fridge there wasn't really enough space for the two of us to sit and eat it at the small desk provided. Also no drawer space for clothes... Thank you Michelle :D Your B&B is Beautiful, I felt very at home and so relaxed the whole time! I loved the way the room is decorated ( I wanted to keep the bedding but it wouldn't fit in the suitcase!) The room was cleaned everyday and fridge filled, a great choice for breakfast! Bus stop is right out side... More

The room was very spacious and the breakfast was plently to keep you going all day. There is a bus stop right outside that takes you directly into the town centre in about 10mins. we would recommend this... More

Great place to stay and a personable host. When we arrived Michelle helped us out a great deal with busses so that we could attend the Tattoo and see the sites in Edinburgh VERY pleased with our room and all of the atmosphere. It was very nicely appointed with everything we needed. I left my laptop in the room and... More

We had just enjoyed a wonderful 5 day bus tour through Scotland and now needed a place to stay for a couple of nights in Edinburgh. We received a warm welcome from Michelle, our very helpful host, and shown to a lovely, spacious, period-decorated room. Very comfy, and quiet (in spite of being on a main road.) Breakfast was provided... More

We stayed here to visit the Edinburgh Military Tattoo and it was a lovely room. We had a separate bathroom, but that was completely fine, as it was only a few short steps away. Shower was AWESOME, especially after some other UK showers we had had - bad flow rate! Michelle was a lovely host, and the buses in to... More
