Lovely day out at the palace and abbey, is wonderful the apartments have been kept so beautiful with so much history on show, both medieval and recent. For an history enthusiast this is definitely a must do!

It was quite interesting to visit the palace and the free audio guide is very informative. You can also use your ticket to visit multiple times for a year. We visited in December and the rooms were beautifully decorated
