I went over to Edinburgh for a night away with my mother. We went to the house and upon arriving were greeted with a bad smell and the look of filth off the place. There was nobody at reception, I knocked on the managers office and still there was no sign of anyone. After waiting half an hour I went...

Spent one night here as we were attending a concert at Murrayfield stadium. Read the reviews on here and was quite frankly dreading it but couldn't get any other accommodation at short notice. Arrived to check in and we did have to phone a number for the code for key box and let ourselves in as there were no staff...

Quite possibly the worst 'Guest House' I have ever stayed in. Upon arrival the housekeeper come manager come owner (still not sure) asked my partner to fill in a form asking for his card and bank details despite then asking him to pay 5 minutes later and presenting a card machine. Thankfully he wrote down an incorrect security number -...

I went there a couple of months ago. The same day I was supposed to go they called me and they told me that for health & safety reasons I couldn't stay in their hotel but that they were not going to charge me. It was during a bank holiday so I struggle another accommodation, in a very short time,...

Stayed here for one night with my wife and 2 year old son. Alexandra was nice and friendly and gave us all the help we need...from baby bed to information. We were in room 2 and the room was very clean and comfortable. We had our own shower so that it was easy for us. Good location and reasonable price....

Brought my girlfriend for 3 nights.. Got met on arrival by the manager who was a pleasant fella. He gave us very helpful information on the bus times and stuff to do and see around the city. Room was lovely and modern with a flat screen TV hair dryer and kettle in the room. The bed was made every day...

This place was a disaster from the moment we pressed the bell on arrival and then spotted a tiny handwritten note instructing guests to phone one of three mobile numbers. The call revealed that this establishment was totally unstaffed and we were given a code to retrieve a front door key from a key safe. Our own keys would be...

as soon as we walked up to the property it says "Murrayfield Hotel" when in fact its a guest house. I wouldn't even consider it a B&B. Check in was insane and completely unprofessional. We rang the bell for over 10 minutes before finally giving up and calling the number. I had to use my U.S. phone to call. The...
