Generally a good option for Edinburgh centre. The apartment is beautifully designed so you can gloss over the negatives. Yes, the apartment floor wasn't very clean; the tv's and air con have no instructions, the shower hose leaked and the air con is rather noisey but all in all, we would recommend this place for value for money, location and general set up.

We have stayed here 3 times in the last years and it’s ideally situated to explore the Fringe. The rooms are well equipped and always clean and tidy. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Great location- we will be back!

We had a brilliant stay. Didn’t arrive until nearly midnight, but the hotel was a safe 8-minute walk from Waverley, and couldn’t have been easier to find. We got a warm welcome from reception and then found we had a stunning, dual-aspect room. No one mentioned an upgrade, so I don’t know if we got one, but room 234 was pretty fantastic. Fridge, Nespresso machine, hob, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, plenty of room and lots of storage. The hotel’s position is really excellent. Quiet enough at night, even with the windows open, but only a very short walk uphill to the madness that is the Royal Mile. The hotel shop stocked coffee pods, drinks, snacks and microwaveable meals. And the storage room meant we made the most of our time in the city. Very impressed.

Located at the bottom of the Royal Mile, this is a great location for central Edinburgh. Nice rooms in which every metre of space is used in a clever way. NCP car parking close by at a discounted rate. Definitely worth a return visit.

Sadly, I don't have a lot of good things to say at all! We arrived and were told that we couldnt check in yet, come back in a bit. We did, and we were shown to a room at the back of the hotel. The room stank of blocked drains, finger stains on the door and dirt stains on the floors/walls. Upon telling reception, we were shown to a room that wasn't much better and it was on the ground floor. Reception were then unsympathetic and frankly, a bit rude. I even told them we're on our honeymoon, they didnt particularly care. I'm so annoyed I'm writing this whilst I'm still here. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!
