Just spent an overnight at no 11.Very friendly helpful staff especially the Irish girl in the restaurant. Food was delicious and well presented with lots of choice . Slightly disappointed with size of the bedroom and bathroom but fine for an overnight stay . Powerful , strong shower and for once a decent hairdrier supplied. Would go back for a...

No.11 Brunswick Street is a very old building, soaked in history. It is only a short walk from Edinburgh Bus Station and Edinburgh Playhouse. The staff were lovely, they couldn't do enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The room was well decorated and the bathroom was beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable. We stayed in the hotel for...

Stayed for 3 nights on a Groupon deal with breakfast and a 5 course taster menu. First impressions really nice building and in keeping with the building type and history of Edinburgh. Room was on the 2nd floor which was a bit of a hike for me with my breathing at times but I managed, no lift so if you...

We've been visiting Edinburgh for many years generally staying around Princess St, this time we decided to change our location so booked our stay at No 11. Can only say what a difference - deffinately state with confidence that 'Small is More' the hotel gives a more personal service with friendly efficient staff. Breakfast I would say that'd you'd be...

Had a fantastic 2 night stay in this hotel. Staff were really friendly and made you feel welcome. The rooms were cleaned to a very high standard , couldn't have asked for anything else. Will visit again.

Just stayed for one night at No11. First impression of townhouse was I thought it been subjected to a fire, the colour of building is very dark on the outside and even the interiors is very dark. Stayed in room 2 which was spacious and clean paid a supplement of £20 for this room which I didn't think was justified...

My wife and I were treated to a two night stay with Breakfast along with dinner on one night of our stay. The hotel has an interesting history which you can feel as you walk through the entrance hallway, our room (on the top floor) was small but adequate, well decorated and a comfy bed. A word of warning for...

Was treated to a two night stay as a Christmas present. Upon trying to book we were told that the hotel was fully booked, it was half term week but as we are both teachers we are restricted to holidays. However we were told we could stay in one of the smaller rooms but would be given a £10 bar...

We have had 2 family birthday meal celebrations here and both have been fab. It has now become the birthday celebration restaurant of choice. The restaurant is beautifully decorated so that it is calm and relaxing. It is not so small as to be awkward but not so big as to be noisy. We could easily all talk as a...

I stayed here for 4 nights. The room is very charming. Staff couldn't be more helpful and were very pleasant. The location is very good, near the city center and on a quiet street. Restaurant and breakfast good.
