We stayed overnight in this hotel and from entering the reception to having our bags carried out to the car, I could not fault the pleasant and helpful staff at this hotel. The room was a good size and beautifully decorated and freebees of wine and chocolate got our trip off to an excellent start. Breakfast was cooked to order...

I stayed here with a couple of friends for a weekend away in Edinburgh. Our rooms were beautifully decorated with big comfy beds. The weather was beautiful and we were able to sit in the lovely hotel garden and enjoy a couple of drinks from the honesty bar. Great breakfast in the morning and the best is the bus stop...

* Check-in - Formal, business like woman. No smile or small talk, just a list of information and rules. Quite a bit of discussion about what payment methods they would take, and why this wasn't notified beforehand. Payment on check-in, not check-out. * Room (Ground Floor @ Front - As seen in photos, was previously an old house, and our...

I stayed here with my girlfriend for our anniversary and first trip to Edinburgh. The owner and staff are very nice and helpful. Recommended us an excellent curry house and sightseeing points in Edinburgh. We had a romantic room with a big spacious comfy bed and a great sparkling bathroom. I'd recommend this place and we will be staying here...

Highy recommended! Terrific place with very kind people. Many busses stops directly in front of the hotel from and to the airport (busline Airlink), and from and to the city. Its just a ten minutes walk and you are at the haymarket and city center. The room has been very nice and clean, breakfast was great. But, the shower.. So...

My husband and I stayed for two nights over Easter weekend. We got a room right next to the breakfast room with a really thin wall...which meant noisy voices and clanging waking us early morning. The shower floor was cracked and very old. We were moved into another room but it was too little too late. The breakfast was cheap...

This is a super bed and breakfast. It is very clean and comfortable, well kitted out with TV, free wi-fi, etc. Beautifully furnished. It's splendid to be able to open the bathroom window and not be kept awake by the aircon, as in the big chain hotels. The service and breakfast is excellent. There are some lovely touches, eg complimentary...

I was looking for a hotel with parking near hay market station that wasn't an extortionate price. The Edinburgh lodge was all that plus more. We had a large room on ground level which was great considering my husband had just run an ultra marathon from Glasgow, so no stairs for him! I was a bit worried about noise from...
