Thank you again to Keith for another comfortable stay in luxurious yet relaxed surroundings. Rooms are beautiful, clean and spacious - a very tasteful combination of antique pieces, and modern facilities. With only two rooms the sharing of the bathroom and separate toilet is never an issue. I love this place ... it's a hidden gem, tucked away in a... More

We recently spent 4 nights at Alexander's Rooms to celebrate my mum's 70th Birthday and couldn't recommend it highly enough. The rooms were large, tasteful and very clean with everything you could imagine from complimentary whisky and shortbread to slippers, robes and the most comfy bed imaginable. Keith was a perfect host, he had excellent suggestions about where to go,... More

Thank you very much indeed, Keith! You are wonderful! You made our BKK-Edinburgh trip a memorable short trip. I love the Morningside area where full of grocery shops and a great pub (The Canny Man), and a lovely short walk to the University area. Your house is full of warmness and well-decorated! Pity I forgot to ask you to play... More

Sadly i only had one night in Edinburgh on my latest trip, but i was very pleased to have stayed at the Alexanders Rooms! In a lovely area of town - a very pretty, quiet road in the Morningside area. At least one great pub in very near walking distance. (The Canny Man) The house is immaculate, wonderful bay windows... More

We stayed at the Alexanders Rooms for the Fringe and it couldn't have been a better find. Great location in Morningside, Keith the owner is so welcoming and helpful with tips and advice, and bedrooms are very comfortable indeed. A charming place to stay.

I stayed in this B&B with a friend for three nights during the festival and I couldn't have a better experience, that started with a welcome tea in the beautiful back garden (just because it was a bit too early to taste the whisky!) Keith's taste in decoration and hospitality can be perceived in every little detail: carefully chosen furniture,... More

Stayed for 3 nights during the festival and the standard of the rooms and Keith's amazing hospitality made for a great stay at a bargain price. The breakfast was fantastic and it is the only establishment I have stayed at that has decanters of whiskey in each room complimentary! The beds were warm and comfortable and the flat was tastefully... More

The owner Keith couldn't have been any nicer. Even bought us a bottle of fizz when found out we were getting married... Breakfasts were great. Continental... More
