Stayed here for one night. Chose it for it's proximity to the zoo and also to break up the drive from the Highlands at the end of a weeks holiday. Have absolutely no negative comments about this hotel. We were warmly welcomed, the room was clean, warm and well equipped with everything we could possibly need. The bed and pillows...

I was really disappointed with this hotel. It's literally right next door to the zoo which was handy but everything else in Edinburgh was difficult to get to. The heating system didn't work properly, the rooms were old and shabby and hadn't been properly cleaned. The bathroom was grimy and small. There was a pubic hair on the pillow when...

Great location for a trip to the Zoo a two minute stroll. Good location for Murrayfield stadium too. Arriving at Edinburgh airport? take the route 100 city link bus, arriving at city centre station? take the route 100 airport bus, so very simple. The stop for the zoo is pre announced on this clean and frequent (every 10 mins) bus....

Easy location, short bus ride from central Edinburgh to the hotel, right next to Edinburgh zoo. The rooms are standard hotel rooms, nothing outstanding but clean warm and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is a good spread.
