Great place to stay would recommend to anyone. We were made to feel very welcome by both Anne and Phil. The level of service was excellent and the room was great, with a very comfy bed and great views of the sea.

We booked 2 nights at Joppa Turrets, following reading the reviews here. All of the reviews (bar one!) proved to be true. The room was extremely comfortable, clean and had tremendous views of the beach and Firth of Forth. The sun rise was glorious. (If you are up early enough ... If not sunset is its equal!) Breakfast was a full...

Joppa Turrets is small family run bed and breakfast and a great place to stay. The location is a quick 25 minute ride on the bus (buses run very frequently every 5 to 7 minutes) from Edinburgh city center and well worth it; the property is right on the beach and every room has a view of the sea. The...

Simple but nice rooms with very comfortable beds and, from the window seats, amazing views of the beach and Firth of Forth just at the end of the garden. With the windows open, listen to the waves; close the (double-glazed) windows and this is a very peaceful place to sleep in Edinburgh. Small, perfectly adequate bathrooms (with showers, not baths)....

I have stayed at Joppa Turrets three times so far in the last couple of months - it feels like my second home. I am doing bits of work in Edinburgh, but it...

We, my mother and I, have recently returned from our second stay at Joppa Turrets,( our first visit being in September 2008), and really do consider this superior guest house to be a fabulous find! The house itself is right at the sea front and the outlook is stunning !The promenade is just over the wall at the end of...

We were delighted to find this delightful bed and breakfast within a peaceful setting , and combining proximity to Edinburgh city centre with a charming and characterful interior. The beach outside is perfect for a quick stroll after breakfast and the house has fantastic views along the Forth. Anne and Phil made us feel at home, and we found the...

What a special find, there is nothing like heading home from the bustling streets of Edinburgh to the calm and charm of Joppa Turrets. Anne and Phil are the quintessential hosts, accommodating in every way! Not only did we have delightful conversation but they were extremely knowledgeable about the area and willing to help with any request. The Guest House...
