This was a beautiful Victorian house B&B with a rose garden and very spacious. The breakfast room was beautifully set-up on the main level overlooking the garden. You could choose your breakfast from waffles, eggs and salmon to a full Scottish breakfast plus a continental breakfast. There were 2 tables set up where guests could help themselves to croissants, danishes,...

Ardmor House is a wonderful b&b just outside Edinburgh city centre. There is a bus stop just yards away for a bus that takes you into the centre and other buses are a few minutes walk away on Leith Walk. The rooms and public areas are beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is amazing, lots...

we stayed at the guesthouse for two weeks and it was the next best thing to being at home. the reception area was modern and akin to any cool boutique hotel and our room was spotless, with the bed and pillows being incredibly comfortable. breakfast each morning was better than any restaurant, and the owners and staff (robin, barry, and...

Just got back from a couple of days in Edinburgh at Ardmor House - clean, nice room (although small but very suitable for one person), staff very friendly and very helpful - close to all amenities with buses outside the door and very suitable if you like to walk- thoroughly recommend and would certainly go back again!

From the early stages of planning my trip, through my last day, Ardmore House was one of the best places i've ever stayed. Robin was SO helpful in answering any questions I had. For part of my travels I was alone, and Ardmore House couldn't have been more perfect in feelings of comfort and safety. My room was SO lovely,...

Location was awesome, hot breakfast was superb as were the hosts. Quiet street across from a park with easy walk to all the shopping and sights of Edinburgh. Salmon eggs were out of this world! Definitely worth looking into if you're planning a holiday in the area!

What a fantastic welcome after a long train journey, with heart shaped shortbread biscuits and elderflower cordial - a wonderful pick me up!!! Robin was the perfect host and gave us lots of information about where to eat and what to see - the climb up Calton Hill was well worth it and the views were magnificent!! The breakfasts were...

We stayed at ardmor house for 5 nights and enjoyed the atmosphere from the very first moment of being welcomed by Robin so lovely with an elderflower drink, a biscuit and all the informations we needed. We slept very well in one of the smalller rooms of the house and got along well - looking at the other three rooms...

Just one night in this wonderful home was not enough. Perfection plus Vera the dog makes this our number one choice for an inevitable return to explore more of Edinburgh. Breakfast was a meal to linger over as each item served was an example of how to combine style with taste - we couldn't manage the mouth-watering muffins so were...

We had a wonderful stay last month with Robin and Barry. After a very long car journey, we were greeted with a heart shaped biscuit each (which Robin had baked) and elderflower cordial which was so refreshing after such a long journey. Robin was extremely knowledgeable about the local area and provided us with lots of information. We had a...
