We stayed over for one night okay hotel, but the rooms are too narrow for us! Otherwise every ting good standard incl the price. Just next to the train station, perfect connection with the airport shuttle bus.

We decided to stay here as we decided to take a two day trip to Edinburgh and the price attracted me. We arrived much earlier than the check in time just to see if we could drop our bags off while we went exploring and the very nice lady at the desk let us check in early as the room...

Tune Hotel Haymarket is in a perfect location across from the station and a very easy walk into town. The tram/bus also stops right outside the hotel to take you into town or to the airport. There are lots of great restaurants/bars etc close by. our room was great, clean and had everything we needed. Very comfortable and quiet, 410....

Stayed here over a rugby weekend. Fantastic location and spotless even although there were building works going on in the hotel. Rooms are small but we were only sleeping in the room so didn't matter. Good powerful shower and great staff. Breakfast at the pub downstairs was the perfect hangover cure too!! Highly recommend!

Many thanks for your great review, I only hope that your team won at Murrayfield (10 min walk) during the rugby six nations championship. Rooms are indeed compact but that means they are value for money. We look forward to welcoming you back Kind regards David

Lovely friendly welcome, Room was small but very clean and we didn't need anymore space as we were only using it for sleeping. Car park was quite tricky to find with it being down a tiny cobbled street. Short walking distance to everywhere we needed to be in Edinburgh. We would stay again. Great budget hotel.

Lovely to hear you enjoyed your stay with us and indeed we are within 10 minutes walk of Princes street ( main shopping street) The car park is directly behind the hotel and unfortunately due to planning regulations cannot be advertised via the main street. However a quick call and we could talk you through it. We look forward to...

Many thanks for your comments and we are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. When booking a room you can choose whether to have a room with or without a window, the windowless rooms being £10.00 cheaper and we do find these fill up 1st. However I can appreciate this is not to every ones cup...

Great value for money, room clean and tidy. We had a no window room, it was small but no noise. No restaurant but adjacent to the platform 5 restaurant which served really good food. The desk staff were helpful in advising about bus and trams.

For couples, its reasonably priced. Good location and friendly staff (Jill, receptionist in particular was very helpful) Beds were wee bit on the hard and lumpy side, room was pretty small for couple but more than made up for the view we had If you wanna a place to crash in the city, can't go wrong with this

I stayed here for a total of 5 nights from the 1st April. I booked this hotel as part of a package with British Airways for a business visit and was exactly as expected. Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
Prevailing winds meant that most cities that grew in industrial Britain had their most desirable neighbourhoods to the west – upwind of factory fumes. Edinburgh was no exception, with its wealthiest citizens settling in its West End and leaving behind grand Georgian townhouses, private gardens and genteel crescents. These backstreets remain as dignified and sleepy as ever, and most of the action here lies along the district’s busy main roads. Lothian Road connects to southern Edinburgh and harbors a vague entertainment district: three theatres and the city’s main indie cinema. All attract a select crowd, the sort who appreciate the Saturday Edinburgh’s Farmers’ Market around the corner. The West End’s other great thoroughfare, Shandwick Place, is dominated by trams trundling out to the suburbs and airport, and shoppers picking up last-minute items before hopping aboard.
