We went there for 3 days very good location in front of a park and bus stop. 10 min to down town. Very clean room good space and nice decoration. Definitely I would come back. Very nice full breakfast: fruits, juice, yogurt, eggs, tea. Good hospitality you feel like home.

Stayed here two nights as part of a five day trip to Scotland. Room was excellent with many touches only normally found in 5star hotels. Breakfast was cooked to order and also first class. Andy the host was most congenial and full of helpful tips his local knowledge is immense. The location of this place makes it convenient for both...

Clean and comfortable. Great location. Fab breakfast. Very quiet even though you are on a main road. Lovely large comfy bed. Andy your host is very welcoming and helpful. A few steps outside and there is the bus stop. No 25 into Edinburgh. Easy as that. Very enjoyable.

This is an interesting place . No staff working 24/7 so you let yourself in and find your room.I must say it was well thought out and cosy and furnished with thought. Breakfast runs strictly to the times specified and a has plenty of choices and would be enough to eat to keep you going all day. The guest house...

The Sandaig House provided a very warm welcome, clean and safe stay in fantastic neighborhood in Leith Edinburgh. Lovely room and a fabulous breakfast with many options including vegetarian and other dietary needs. Easy access to downtown via the #25 bus (frequent service and night service too) to Edinburgh City Center 15- 20 minutes away. See a real neighborhood in...

A comfortable stay and great value for money. Simple system for getting access on arrival. Our room was quite small but had en suite facilities. It lacked a comfy seat but was fine otherwise. The breakfast choices were good and service excellent. Our room had a nice view over Leith Links. From the Guest House it is an easy walk...

The arrival was super easy, the key was in the box next to the door and we got in quickly. The breakfast is done personally and with much effort. If you habe the time its nice but don't expect it to be fast. The room was ok - the welcome whiskey a nice surprise. Good choice for a guesthouse.

First the positives. Andy was a very welcoming and accomodating host. Location was good for us as we were visiting friends and family in the Leith area. Accessibility to central Edinburgh was great as a bus is at the front door. Proximity to Leith restaurants and pubs was also good. The opportunities: - the breakfast was the most disappointing I've...

Lovely room and a good breakfast. I liked it so much I am coming back in February! The location is great - quiet but only a 10 minute bus ride into Princes Street! Perfect. I would have no hesitation in recommending The Sandaig.

The Sandaig served us very well during our two night stay in Edinburgh - Andy is a fabulous host, full of handy local information that you'd do well to utilise to fully make the most of your stay. Although not there all the time, you won't be without all the necessary information for checking in/checking out, he really couldn't be...
