We stayed in room 11 of the Hotel Twenty paying £118.00 for one nights stay, we were charged so much because we were desperate to find a room for the last night of the Edinburgh Tattoo, It was a dirty room and the bathroom horrible, we booked through laterooms.com, the shower head was filthy (PICTURES TAKEN) both laterooms and the...

I stayed here a night in a twin room with my friend in July 2015. We could only get in after ringing the bell twice as reception was downstairs. The room we got looked OK to start with but due to having a ground floor room right next to the street it was quite noisy. While my friends bed was...

Website gives completely the wrong impression of this hotel. It is more like a hostel than a hotel and not one of the better ones at that. The bed was old and very low with a poor mattress - backache unsurprisingly ensued. A tapping noise which was complained about was responded to with "its next door nothing we can do,...

This is Edinburgh's version of faulty towers, a friendly basic hotel that is more like a hostel. The room I had was cheap as chips, tiny and basic which was exactly what I paid for. The staff were helpful, and it suited me completely as a place to lay my head while getting rowdy at the fringe festival. It's not...

Hotel is dirty, filthy with sticky floors and filthy bedding. Fittings, upholstery, carpets and decorations are shabby, damaged or worn-out. Breakfast room and kitchen is filthy and unhygienic. First Breakfast was very poor so the following ones we ate at the Italian cage up the road.

Well, Hotel Twenty... Think that's all about I should have paid for it!!. Where do I start... Perhaps I was expecting more for a 3 star but then I realised it was actually a 2 star after seeing on some websites. Never again will I return to this hotel. We were based in the downstairs room next to the reception....
