This B&B has a convenient location, close to bus stops to downtown, and in a quiet neighborhood. Our "double room" was a nice size and the bathroom was very modern and functional. The breakfasts were very good and the dinning facility roomy and pleasant. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Four off-street parking spaces are available, but present a...

Tall ceilings, good mattress, large, modern bathroom, wide range of delicious breakfasts, perfect location for parking your car and taking an easy bus ride into town. Owners not omnipresent but there when you need them. Friendly breakfast staff. Very clean. I would suggest only stronger, richer coffee!

Comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, good information provided to the area. It's a wonderful 10 minute walk along the bay into town. Be sure to take the ferry to aisle of Mull and visit Duart Castle. The beauty was endless.

Gorgeous rooms, friendly/helpful staff, and a great breakfast! Very short and cheap taxi into the heart of downtown but far enough away from all the chaos that you have nice peace and quiet. We really appreciated the built in modern bathroom in the Wallace suite

We stayed at Ard-na-said during our recent trip to Edinburgh. Our room, Rankin, which is on the ground floor with french doors onto the garden was lovely, very quiet, comfortable twin beds and very well appointed. The breakfast is good with plenty of choice including a full Scottish breakfast or porridge with fruit. Our host, Steven, was particularly helpful during...

Lovely room & great en suite! The room was neat and clean. Everyone was so friendly, especially Kirsten:-) The breakfasts included choices of bacon, eggs, and porridge. My husband thought the porridge was delicious!

My sister-in-law and I stayed here for 2 nights on a recent trip to the city, and were very impressed. We got a warm welcome from Stephen, and were delighted with our spotlessly clean and spacious twin room on the ground floor. The ensuite bathroom was a good size too, with a nice big bath and shower. We particularly liked...

With only a couple of days in Edinburgh, we debated about staying right in the middle of everything or further out. We found the perfect compromise in Ard Na Said. It is far enough out of the center of activity to be peaceful yet an easy bus or inexpensive cab ride into the Royal Mile. We had a lovely downstairs...

What a wonderful weekend stay at Ard Na Said, a lovely welcome from the owner, our room "Baird" was very light, spacious, immaculately clean & comfortable, staff were very friendly, situated in a quiet street approximately 30 minutes walk into town. I would definitely recommend staying here which we found very reasonably priced too. Thank you so much J &...

We stayed here a couple (2 people) of nights and we enjoyed it. Our room was at the ground floor, next to the entrance, but it was still very quite. The hotel is well connected to the main attractions and you can reach them by bus within 15/20 minutes tops. We ordered a Scottish breakfast and salmon bagels the morning...
