I've now stayed in the Lindsay 5 or 6 times and each time the service, accommodation, and breakfast are faultless!! Without asking I was given the same room as previous, showing Keith and Pamela's attentiveness - almost feels like a home from home! Great walks along the Union Canal as well - perfect to ease pre-exam nerves! Thanks again for... More

Spent New Year here this year, they were really helpful, especially as we had to change the dates as our flights were changed. Rooms were spotless, bathroom was newly refurbished and lovely. Pamela and Keith were excellent, even sending on our left items. Bus stop into town right outside B&B with two regular buses. Would recommend this to anyone.

A lovely place to spend our 3 nights over Hogmany. Our hosts were very friendly and we started our day with a beautiful breakfast. The accomodation was first class and spotless. What more could we ask for. Stephen and Lesley Buckley. Spring Cottage Guest House. I know we never mentioned it, but all the best and thank you.

My now Fiance and I spent a weekend in Edinburgh and had a lovely stay at the Lindsay. The rooms are spotless and well maintained, breakfasts are great and Keith and Pamela gave us a great welcome. If you want any local info then ask Keith - he knows his stuff!! Though you need to practice your 'cutting in' Keith... More

I've been visiting my son who's at Napier Uni for five years now but this was my first stay at Lindsay Guest House. My other experiences of guest houses in the area had not been good but Pamela and Keith's offering exceeded my expectations. They were very welcoming, helpful and professional. You get the feeling that unlike so many, they... More

We booked at the last minute for a wedding nearby and Pamela and Keith were so accomodating, letting us check-in early so we'd be in time for the wedding. The room was massive, with lovely high ceilings, old wooden furniture and big bay windows. There is car parking out front and the breakfast was excellent. would definately recommend to anyone!

Our stay in Edinburgh was only 2 nights, however The Lindsay Guest House made it most comfortable and enjoyable. The room was superb with a good quality bed and ensuite facilities. The breakfast was hearty and well served and presented in a lovely dining room. Use of the off road parking was also a bonus so there was no need... More

My wife and I found this guest house to be very friendly where nothing was a problem at all. Pam gave us good recommendations about restaurants and general advice about Edinburgh. The breakfasts were filling and the rooms were spotless. We have been to Edinburgh previously but will certainly be staying at the Lindsay again!

Lovely accommodation and even lovelier hosts. Good location, about a 10 minute bus ride to the centre of town, nice quiet street. Buy the full day bus pass if you are going to ride the bus more than twice, better deal. Buses are very clean and safe. Pam gave us some great tips on adjusting our sightseeing plan for the... More
