Conveniently situated for the Fringe (it's about 10-20 minutes from the most venues) and comfortable enough for a short stay. Jasmine is very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is good (the haggis is especially fine) and at £100 a night for a double room I think it's good value for Edinburgh in August. The wi-fi can be a bit flaky (but...

Absolutely fine for what was needed. Welcoming host and cooked breakfast. Definitely more of a guest house than a hotel and is in need of a refurb. Very close to city centre and with parking too. Beautiful outside- but we felt it was quite a lot of money for what it was- but it is August in Edinburgh!

we just spent 4 nights in this hotel and found it to be perfect for what we wanted to do, easy walking distance from train station and just far enough away from the hustle on a lovely quiet little road. room 3 twin room was adequate as all double rooms were taken ensuite bathroom lovely, beds comfortable and tea/coffee making...

A big thanks to Jasmin for being such a gracious host during our stay for 4 nights, June 12 to June 16th. 2015. My granddaughter and I thoroughly enjoyed those great breakfasts each morning. For helping us with directions and good advise that you supplied. Will certainly tell anyone we know that is going to Edinburgh, to get in touch...

We stayed 2 nights, and this hotel is located right in the centre of Edinburgh but not close enough to be bothered by noise. The hotel is a typical Georgian Terraced house with a very grand entrance hall. The room was quite small but didn't feel cramped. The hotel is probably in need of some attention but I think it...

Can't remember how I found this place on Laterooms probably a combination of location and price. Edinburgh is expensive in general and I think that for £90 a night in most other towns in the UK you would get substantially better than this. The location is good for Princes street and Calton Hill but does involve walking up hill to...

We stayed at Hanover House Hotel over New Years. Our room was great and was a good size. We had a cooked breakfast every morning which set us up for the day. The location was perfect, it was in walking distance to the centre of edinburgh and this made our trip very easy and stress free. Jasmin was also friendly...

This is not a hotel but a guest house/bed and breakfast. The location is fine but this alone does not justify the cost. In December we found our accommodation to be very cold and on check out were not permitted to leave our luggage to be picked up later!

This is not a hotel but a guest house/ B&B with limited resources. Although clean the whole place is badly in need of painting and maintenance. We were greeted on arrival by a person whose English was limited and hard to understand. The "en suite" was a corner taken off the room with Saniflo plumbing, which made quite a din...

A bit of a mixed review for this stay. We payed quite a large sum of money for our room and honestly did not feel that it valued up to the amount that we payed. Ok welcoming in, but on first impressions it felt as though we were staying at a B+B and not a hotel. Sort of felt like...
