OK so if you are lucky you might get to stay in Balmore house that looks fine on Internet & in the flesh. However when you arrive there you may get put in a nice room there get told there made a terrible mistake & March you down the road to their other property which is awful. Alongside the horror...

The Location is excellent, and the rooms a very clean and pleasant. We were put in a different annex house across the road but it was a very short walk from the main house. The waffles for breakfast actually turned out to b croissants, but apart from that I couldn't fault it!

To be honest, I didn't like anything about this place. I wanted to leave as soon as I arrived and saw the place. I wish I had read the reviews on here as my experience matches so many experiences other people have had. - The house that I stayed in wasn't actually the house as advertised! I arrived at night...

Easily the worst place i've ever stepped foot in. I booked this place om Booking.com as it looked affordable and good value for money - I turned up half an hour early in the hope i'd be able to leave my bag in there, nobody answered the locked door and nobody answered the phone. When they did eventually answer, I...

no idea how this was an allergy free room as you could write your name in the dust. photos on website very misleading as gives the impression of a clean, tidy, well maintained property. Unable to open blinds as cord broken, paint on bedcovers and curtains, damp on ceiling. After 1st night room was 'cleaned', only bin emptied and duvet...

I was looking for a cheap B&B when I was attending hospital for radiotherapy. Did this fit the bill? ABSOLUTLY! Mew main requirement was for en-suite. I was in room 18 in Balmore house for the first week. A bit dated but warm and comfortable. The next week was in room 27 in the annex "Bowmore House". The furniture was...

This B&B is within walking distance of main attractions and centre of city and university. Rooms are basic and spread over 3 properties. Breakfast is basic but welcome, you are asked to place an order for hot food the night before. As a room at a relatively low price for the city it is perfectly adequate. If you plan to...

The guest house was clean, but our double room was very very small, the en suite was even smaller we were in room 12. The curtains were very thread bear and were hanging down.... The breakfast was not up to much very small over cooked and dry. Not too far from everthing, taxi was £5.50 one way going home and...

This was shockingly bad, the room was filthy, cramped and (with a series of extension leads that flickered and worked intermittently) actually unsafe. The cushions on the bed made my skin crawl, the room looked out onto a gravel courtyard littered with old Chinese containers. The bathroom was miniscule and the taps were hanging off the wall, I thought they...
