The room we got for 4 people was very cheap, 50 pounds a night but, with the 8 pounds per person for breakfast, and 3 pounds for wifi a day it racked up pretty quick. There are a TON of places to stay close to here that were around the same price for better quality. Our room was right by...

Stayed just for 1 night. It's a simple place about 20mins out of the Edinburgh city. There was a mixup with my booking but the lady at check in was able to offer me one of the executive rooms at a discounted rate. It has a very old fashioned interior and no lift so if you don't like stairs look...

The hotel and especially the room are dark and tired. My room was dingy but it was clean. The bathroom was the saving grace - it was new, modern and the shower was great. They turn off the neat at night so it was cold. I asked at the front desk and the clerk had trouble speaking English ( most...

I stayed at Edinburgh house for one night after hogmanay. The location is fantastic (only 5-10 minutes walk to the tram), it was warm, cosy, clean and the staff were super helpful. We asked if we could upgrade to a double room, and they obliged free of charge. If you are looking for a short stay in Edinburgh I would...

When we checked in they gave us room 14, gorgeous, cosy, quiet but my daughter had problems climbing the spiral stairs that led to the second floor. I kindly asked if they could change it and the following day they put us in a comfortable room in the garden. The staff is very caring and efficient. The building is old...

At £70 for two nights in Edinburgh with free parking opposite, I ain't complaining (too much). We were in Room 3 which is large and clean. Bathroom is fine with hot powerful shower (which the drain struggles to cope with when on full). beds aren't too comfy but not a problem over only two nights. The heating does tend to...

My partner and I stayed here for one night. We booked through a hostel website after looking for a basic, cheap room in an area between town and Leith. At £43 for a double room, we couldn't complain about our experience. The room was relatively modern, clean and we both had a good sleep. We skipped the £8 continental breakfast...

Stayed here for a night out with friends. Decent sized room with a double bed and single bed. Staff were very friendly and the location was perfect for heading into central Edinburgh. Would recommend for anyone going for a night out in Edinburgh!

This Hotel (if you dare call it a Hotel) is of a very poor standard and overpriced. My room was cold no spare blankets. Stairs to my room were very steep and no lift as I am 64 years old this was a climb for me. My room was of a poor standard quite clean but could have been better....
