I arrived about 8 30 in the morning of Fr. 26.Sep for 4 nights and was given the key to my room. On my way way up the stair, I was asked if i would like any breakfast, as it was no problem. What a great impression! I just asked for a couple slices of toast and some tea.The

I have never stayed in a B&B before, I have always dormed in hotels. Due to the Ryder cup, we found ourselves being offered a room in the annex at the back of the main building, which we took, as there were no other rooms going in Edinburgh at the time. This in fact turned out

The objects including the TV in this cluttered room were covered in a layer of dust and grime! Surely the most important things about running a B&B is to ensure that it is clean. Other than that the place was fine for the price. Breakfast was quite good. Do not ever plan to

"The annex is great for seclusion and a little garden."
"Single rooms are always hard to find in the UK, since they do not charge by the room, but per person...so that means that a single traveler gets a double at half price. George does have 1 single room. It's very tiny. But I am out all day anyway...and the location and his breakfasts and his hospitality make it fine!"
"Room number 6 is facing the garden and is quiet and comfortable"
"This time we stayed in room 2, which is very large, looks out into the quiet avenue, and has a bathtub, which is unusual in B&Bs."
"Ask for a room on the first floor (20 and something steps). The ones on the second are quite a task to climb after a long day sightseeing."
