Two nights in Falkirk to take in the Wheel & Kelpies. Couldn't have chosen better B&B. Big, well furnished rooms with wonderful mattresses made for a great night's sleep. Whilst there we weren't confined to our bedroom as Lismore has a massive communal guest room where we spent our evenings. Very good breakfast with the best fruit salad we've ever...

We enjoyed a very pleasant two nights in Jacqui's comfortable B & B. Everything about it was welcoming especially the cosy log burner stove in the spacious lounge when the weather was gloomy. Our room was comfortable which as well as the normal facilities had a sensible well-lit reading area. Breakfasts were excellent, particularly the fresh fruit salad. Jacqui herself...

I took my teenage daughter away for a girlie weekend shopping and genuinely don't think I could've found a better place to stay! It's that good in fact that I don't want to tell others about it and keep it as a little hidden gem for ourselves! On arrival we were greeted by jacqui, who instantly made us feel at...

A superb B & B set in a working farm. I have never seen a more beautifully decorated and comfortable B&B in our travels. Jaki was a superb host with a breakfast to match. Location excellent! Cannot think of a thing not to like.

Highly recommended. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is absolutely delicious. The scrambled eggs were the best as was the whole cooked breakfast, though the scrambled eggs were particularly noteworthy as so many a chef/cook struggle to get them right. The breakfast room is beautifully laid out with a variety of cereals and delicious fruit salad. Jacqui does...

Every need had been catered for. The room was very clean, large with a comfortable bed and two easy chairs with good lighting. Tea Tray with various choices and home made goodies on arrival and every day something different and tasty. Bathroom facilities excellent. Breakfast freshly cooked and very appetising. Beautiful views. A warm and friendly welcome, and near enough...

10 out of 10 and if we could rate it higher we would. Jacqui was a perfect host and the room and breakfast were great. A great location for either a long stay or one off visit. We have nothing negative to say and will definitely choose Lismore House B&B if we venture to Falkirk again.

We stayed here for a second time for our recent trip to Scotland. The guest house is ideally situated for visiting the Falkirk area, and with easy access to Edinburgh. Jackie is a fabulous hostess, so friendly and welcoming and cooks a breakfast which can't be beaten! The guest house is really comfortable, very clean and well equipped, free Wifi...

This was our second stay at Lismore House, this time as a base for enjoying the Edinburgh Festival. We have learnt from previous experience of overpriced and noisy hotels in the city centre - Lismore House is a much nicer place to stay and at a fraction of the cost. Jacqui the owner is the perfect host. Our second visit...
