First - The staff were excellent and cheerful and polite. Our room was weird. We had booked a double but were given a room with a double and a single bed. The head boards which were mounted on the wall were for a twin room so neither bed had a proper head board - the double had half a head...

I stayed at the Dean Park for a long period of time over the Christmas and New Year and loved every minute. The staff were so kind and attentive and couldn't have been more happy to help, even with special requests! I ended up being in Scotland for new year and they managed to squeeze myself and two friends into...

My wife and I recently went for an evening meal to try the new menu. The service was friendly from the start and we are made most welcome. Our table was nice at the window and we were given the menus and told about the specials board. The food was served quickly and was excellent. Waitresses were very attentive and...

We attended a wedding recently and after being told it was a lovely place we were disappointed. The carpet was frayed, pictures were at some point taking off the walls but the hooks were still left in, the bar mirrors were filthy, lots of scuff marks on walls. The music was extremely load even with earplugs in! I asked for...

We were a party of 12, and previously we had enjoyed nothing but good experiences in the restaurant, so the drop in standards was a great disappointment for us. Pre-dinner drinks in the bar area adjoining the restaurant was the first warning, as wine was delivered with glasses, but we were left to pour ourselves, and it took quite some...

I was comfortable in the honeymoon suite for two nights, day before and wedding night. There was a few hiccups but through no fault of their own(another business) and were quick to correct by the time our wedding started. They actually couldn't do more for us. The food was amazing and very filling! The whole experience was magical and I...

We went as we had heard that the bar was dog friendly. So it proved to be we were welcomed and water and a treat were brought for our Border Collie Sam. There was a good choice of dishes. I had Beer battered haddock goujons for starters and Steak Pie for a main at just £9.95. Will certainly be back...
