Popped into the golf inn which is a stones throw from the old course . Very friendly welcoming staff. Had the soup and sadwich for lunch washed down with a few beers. Great choice of beers .would definitely go back.

After the tour round St Andrews golf course we were looking for somewhere nearby for a small bite to eat, when we came across this inn situated very near the course. Sandwiches were fresh made, however soup was a little thick for my liking. The inn is well presented with a beautiful staircase. Not sure about evening meals as I... More

Last minute booking for work. Very pleasant staff, very nice room and bathroom. Pub downstairs with rooms above, no internal noise that I heard, but with the windows open in the evening (for fresh air), there was a bit of street noise, but not too bad for a centrally located hotel.

There was a table to our right and 3 American ladies waiting on lunch arriving, the food came and a lady pointed out that the chips were very brown looking (even I noticed) the waiter told her... Hello Mommabear Is it ironic that our first food review since taking over on 2nd may 2016 is a 1 out of 5... (albeit a bit harsh in my opinion based on chips and staff in training feedback mind you).. anyway "chipgate" has been investigated and I'm pleased to report that indeed it wasn't the colour of the potato (I... There on business. The hotel is part of a bar and restaurant downstairs. It is unmanned overnight and doesn't offer room service or many amenities that you'd expect from a hotel, but it was clean and had a nice bathroom, with a nice view of the sea.

Hi George S - Thanks for your feedback, We've literally just acquired the property (2nd May 2016) and will be making some changes, I think you'll find there is a wee bit more to the property next time you visit with an extensive refurbishment amongst other things, its worth noting that whilst it may have been listed as a hotel...
