I had to go to St Andrews for a workshop at the University. I heard that the University offer some accommodations for visitors at the University, tourists, .... The price was very attractive compared to other hotel in town. The centre of St Andrews is very close (~5-10 min) by foot and you are also close to the bay and...

A perfectly adequate room, not huge but clean and well equipped. Tv and free wifi. Comfy bed. Pleasant and helpful staff. Great breakfast with large choice. The corridors are a little long but there are some rooms nearer reception.

Stayed here for a cheap weekend away in St Andrews as many of the other hotels are so expensive. Room was fine and perfectly equipped for a few nights stay. Managed to get a good nights sleep, however, the maids seemed to be kicking people out before check out time (which if i can remember check out was around 10am...

Found this room to be small, clean and none to bad but at night we found the bed, lumpy and springs all over the place. When i got up in the morning, my wife said, whats that big red mark on your leg, turns out it was one of the mysterious lumps on the mattress id been sleeping on, no...

Staying at Agnes Blackadder Hall is an experience not worth repeating. The room was cramped and stuffy. We could only reach it by walking through endless overheated corridors. There was almost no water pressure so showering presented something of a challenge and after flushing the toilet we had to wait for 10 minutes before we could flush again. For the...

I stayed in these halls of residence with my husband in August for a couple of nights. The rooms were very clean and breakfast was very good. The halls are only a 5 -10 minutes walk to the centre of St Andrews and have free car parking.

We stayed in Agnes Blackadder Hall for a conference in the university. The room was pretty small, a huge desk takes too much room (but it's supposed to be a student accommodation anyways) but the double bed comfortable and the shower clean. A kettle, coffee and tea where available in the room, a paid shared laundry room and a free...

I took a coach party of 27 from Liverpool to St Andrew's for our annual church pilgrimage and we stayed at Agnes Blackadder as our base. Rooms, food and facilities were all excellent for this type of accommodation and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Our coach driver commented that it was better than many hotels he had stayed in....

These halls are almost like a hotel layout where each bedroom is off a main hallway and not shared with any other guests. The rooms are small and two people struggle to move around in the room as there is not a lot of space. Ladies - there is no hairdryer therefore you will need to take your own! There...

My memories of halls of residence was nothing like this... Spacious and well appointed rooms with neat little shower room and toilet. There is good wifi and a TV also ! We were pleasantly surprised by the rooms, delighted with the welcome and enjoyed both the bar and the breakfast (but choice does scale down quickly as closing time approaches...
