I stayed there about a year ago (about 3 weeks or so prior to 2015 Open Championship) with a group of 12. We had a blast, got to know the owners. Staff was great, food was really good. It's bar food, but really good bar food. We could not have been treated better. The rooms were comfortable. Not luxurious, but... More

My wife and I were on our honeymoon to Scotland and decided to play at St. Andrews. Before our tee time we were looking for a bite to eat and some drinks. We rambled down the road just a block off the 18th hole at old course and looked for the most authentic/interesting and convenient place to eat we could... More

Stopped in for lunch and was thrilled to see all of the photos of the famous golfers that have been to the place. Even my wife and daughter (who don't golf) were intrigued by the numerous photos but more by the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. If was anything fancy for food but it was good pub grub.

Four of us were there on the 4th of July and happy to see they decorated their pub in red, white and blue for the occasion. A man I am told is the owner is grilling out on the deck - another nice touch. A waitress starts dressing a long table with a large American flag - not a tablecloth,... More

Have been going here for years and food has always been nice....but after visiting today I was very disappointed...not with the food, but the discrimination of parents with children....(2 sets of parents with 2 children)...as we walked in we were immediately approached by the proprieter and advised that we could not bring our pram for our friends 6 month old... if you are a golfer, or just a tourist, a visit to the Dunvegan is essential. Just around the corner from the Old Course, and the Royal and Ancient, this classic pub offers agreeable food served by friendly staff and caring, ever- present owners, a Texan and a Scot, named Jack and Sheena. This is not just a pub. It... More

We rented 8 rooms for 8 guys for four nights. We had a blast. Jack and Sheena took such great care of us. And the bar staff was fun, warm, welcoming, and attentive. We had high expectations and they were exceeded. It's like going to the funnest party you've ever been to, and when you get sleepy you just walk... More

The Dunvegan Hotel and Pub live up to their reputation as the best golf spot in the world. The hotel is top notch and the pub is alive with friends and fun, every night. Having seen the hotel on the golf channel was keen to visit,it has a lively atmosphere with plenty of american golfer clientele. The photos are impressive in the bar. My wife and I both ordered wine, not cheap at 4.50 a glass. Clearly they dont sell much wine as mine was within an ace of turning and undrinkable. We both left... More

Well, we appreciate you taking the time to write a review on your experience with us. Only wish you had contacted a member of staff and I am sure we could have rectified your issue. We do sell ton's of wine both by the glass and by the bottle, and on occasions wine can become corked or gone bad if... More
