Easy to find and a short walk from everywhere in town. The key system works well and it is quiet and very clean. Duvets, bedding and towels were of good quality and the room was nice and warm. Breakfast could be improved but there are lots of nice places to eat nearby.

We stayed here for one night on a quick break to St Andrews. The B&B looked a bit “tired” overall. Despite being a week before Christmas there was no festive decor in the hallway, communal sitting area or breakfast room. The room was freezing when we first arrived but did heat up eventually. Breakfast was listed as “full cooked breakfast” - consisted of 2 slices of bacon, about 3 sliced mushrooms, half a tomato and 1 (yes, 1) small link sausage. No black pudding, haggis, fruit pudding or potato scone which make a “full cooked breakfast”. No one there to welcome you, just left with a door code. Only 2 tiny milk portions in room, nobody there to ask for more. Although we did get some from another room. All in all a very disappointing stay, we were repeat guests and the standards have definitely gone downhill which is a real shame as the hotel has a great location and was fabulous when we stayed before.

The guest house is fantastic. Rooms are lovely, very confty and walking distance from everything you might fancy in St. Andrews, golf related or not. Thank you Betsy for a lovely breakfast and a wonderful stay. =) I had the Scottish salmon + cream cheese bagel. Highly recommended

Great rooms, shared lounge arewa is a bit dark. The breakfast is excellent. Very clise to the town and the golf course/s. My room overlooked the main road and was never an issue. Good bed and decent shoer too. Ideal for a golf break!

Although modern in decor and very clen, neat and tidy,we were disappointed in relation to the cost. Room was not particularly large whilst the bed was pretty small. I'm 6ft 3 and to fit in the bed I would need to sleep diagonally. Breakfast was at a table for 10,so no quiet start to the day, limited continental choice, decent if you want a cooked breakfast, we waited over half an hour for ours to arrive .

I had booked a king size bed. I’m 6’4 tall and need to sleep slightly diagonally, even on a king sized bed. What I got was two singles pushed together. Not only are these shorter than a king size but also have a ridge down the middle. The beds were also of poor quality and went flat when sat on. Even Travelodge can manage pocket spring decent king sized beds for as little as £30 a night. Come on guys, we expect more for £150 a night! The room is boutique and looks nice, (garden room) but also has a roof light with no covering and poor blinds on windows. If you struggle to sleep in a light room, don’t book this one. As a result of the bed I had three very sleepless nights and felt truly awful each morning, just eating a bit of toast. Two singles is not an king sized bed! All style and no substance!

Lovely stay at this excellent B & B with a relaxed atmosphere. The property is minutes away from all that St Andrews has to offer. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The host, Peter, answered any questions we had very quickly. Breakfast was delicious with lots of fantastic options provided. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Arriving late was not a problem, breakfast is fabulous and the service in general is outstanding. The host, Peter, is a flexible man and very friendly. Keep in mind that there is traffic on the street so you need to keep the windows closed if you have a room on the street side. Besides the breakfast room there was a very nice shared living room on the ground floor as well. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. We will definitely come back there. Harold & Emmy Vrieling

Fantastic room with garden patio, super relaxing. The bed was excellent and so was the ensuite bathroom. Great location, amazing staff and exceptional breakfast. Use of the lounge was a nice bonus. Will definitely visit again!

Amazing B@B with a fantastic host ( Peter ) , we stayed in the garden room which was modern and comfortable, with patio doors out into the garden, breakfast is delicious, with a wide variety of fresh local produce, poached eggs cooked to perfection, and large slabs of French toast with maple syrup was my particular favourite, there is a lovely lounge to sit in if you fancy a night in, but with such a central location it's too easy to walk out the door and enjoy one of the many lovely pubs, can't wait too visit again.
