Had a lovely family meal here on Saturday 18th of April. The place was buzzing with locals and tourists alike. The Inn is dog friendly, child friendly and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is good quality and very reasonably priced. Will definitely eat here again.
Visited on Easter Sunday for a family meal and to watch the football. Such a family friendly place, great food and Fiona’s service especially was outstanding. She was so friendly and made us feel so welcome. Would highly recommend and booking is essential as it’s such a busy place. Will definitely be back next time we’re in St Andrews.
It is not often I am truly positively surprised by the quality and atmosphere of a hotel but this place made it. To start with, the staff and the level of customer focus/service was outstanding. Arriving at the hotel I had some totally unrelated issues with my travel logistics and they really did all they possibly could to help and other than that just an amazing team. Further, I have stayed in a number of different "pub-hotels" and find most of them very cozy and comfortable but entering my room here was like walking into any high quality business hotel. Large, clean, light, aircond, with a very comfortable bed and functioning working desk. Obviously well working free WiFi. Adding to all this, it is located as central as you can get in wonderful St Andrews and also serves good food and a great breakfast.…
We stayed at the hotel while attending an event at Fairmont St Andrews. This hotel is a real gem of a find. Nestled in the centre of the town it’s easy to find and located next to a free carpark. It’s a pub so remember this when you arrive. Check in was at the bar but was first class and straight forward. The bedrooms are accessible by a lift. The rooms are very spacious and bight. Air con in the rooms along with tv etc. breakfast is served in bar and offered a great range to choose from. We ate lunch a few times. You could not fault the food or service. The best part of our stay was the personal touch and service from the team. Rooms were immaculate and spotless. Nothing was too much trouble. Even had a birthday breakfast. One disappointing thing to report. The lovely land lady is retiring soon. If you are in the area and need a good quality hotel. Look no further!!…
spent a couple of days in this hotel and found the facilities very pleasant indeed! Our room was VERY spacious and clean. Had lunch and some drinks in the bar area again very pleasant but the best thing was the breakfast! So much choice and everything cooked to order. Staff on shift were friendly and polite, checking that everyone was enjoying their visit, would definitely recommend and visit again.
