Lovely hotel in a great location for the old course, also lots of eating places and bars near by. Rooms were a great size and very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. We also had breafast which was lovely and included in the very reasonable room cost.

My stay in Greyfriars Hotel was short but enjoyable. Nice welcoming staff, comfortable bed, clean bathroom and nice soft towels. Tea and coffee in room. The only thing I would say was missing was some shower gel or shampoo. They did have a soap dispenser but if you have a bath you can't reach up to the soap dispenser while you're soaking...

Rooms were lovely and clean, staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was fab! Only downside were the bathrooms. The bath and showers had lots of mould and grime in the shower heads and tiles. The rest of the bathroom was clean but this put us off showering. We were only there over night so were able to wait and...

Great value for money Service good and very friendly. Excellent breakfast. Rooms are a good size and very clean. We also had a lunch which was well cooked and again reasonably priced. I would recommend this hotel as its central but you can get everything without leaving the hotel.

This is our 3rd visit to the Greyfriars hotel and very time has been excellent. The Hotel is centrally located in St Andrews and there is a car park adjacent to the hotel although it does get full at times. Usually you can always park the car after 6pm and then leave it there! The rooms are large and clean...

We stayed for 3 nights. The rooms are comfortable, clean, large, warm and well equipped. The welcome and hospitality was excellent and our checkin/out was so fast and efficient. Food is excellent (particularly the breakfast) large portions and good value for money. There is a huge selection of beers in the bar and staff are very friendly and helpful. As...

Another return visit to Greyfriars didn't disappoint us. As always the Fish and Chips were first class and plentiful. If your really, really hungry try the large portion. The restaurant was very busy and noisy but service quick and waitress pleasant and helpful.

Must have been a busy weekend as we're sold out of many salmon dishes and Cullen skink. Service was great but the coffee, Americana was the absolute worst I think I have ever had. Really need to upgrade the coffee quality selection instead of the stuff your grandmother buys at the discount supermarket!
