One of the most sought after holiday locations on the east coast of Scotland.

With unrivalled views across azure waters and a magnificent sandy bay towards St Andrews and beyond, award-winning St Andrews Holiday Park at Kinkell Braes is one of the most sought after holiday locations on the east coast of Scotland.

St Andrews is famed for being the home of golf and the park is enviably positioned within easy reach of all the best courses, including the world renowned Old Course. The historic university town is within walking distance of the park and offers an eclectic mix of shops and boutiques and the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of royalty and to take in some sightseeing.

Outdoor types will enjoy the Fife Coastal Path which passes alongside the park taking in rugged cliffs, long sandy beaches and wildlife reserves.

Back on-park is The Braes, an impressive bar and restaurant offering a delicious fresh menu with a focus on speciality burgers. Guests can watch big screen sports, find a quiet spot in the snug or relax with a drink on the sun terrace taking in the sea views. Next door, children can have fun adventures in the play park.

There is also an on-park Papa John's Pizza takeaway with delivery available direct to your holiday home or pitch.

St Andrews Holiday Park offers stylish accommodation too and the spectacular Connoisseur holiday homes and lodges are an absolute must-stay with the very best sea views. In addition, lodge guests can enjoy these views from the luxury of their own private hot tub.

Free high speed Wifi is available in the lodges and holiday homes and throughout The Braes. There is a choice of two touring fields and tents are welcome too (Wifi is available for a small charge).

Motorhome pitches very generous. Loads of choices in the restaurant for food and drink. On a bus route to travel around. Coastal walk is brilliant if the weather holds. St Andrews is the most accommodating town for everyone. Golfers or not

Walking distance to the town with modern accommodation. Clubhouse had good entertainment this time but can get very busy. Good views and friendly site as it has been on previous visits. Scenic route into town along the coastal path. Very clean and tidy site throughout

Third visit but first to Conissior caravan with fab views over st andrews and beach, and harbour, my fav area. Everything was fabulous, even gave cleaning materials, toilet roll and two bottles of wine and biscuits, tea etc, nice touch. Marred slightly by litter outside front of caravan, despite many staff floating about cutting grass and doing general maintenance. Loads of spider webs on windows which we cleaned off ourselves, caused by green area just in front of us, many flies and wasps about meaning opening front caravan windows not good, despite the heat. It is summer. Overall.highly recommended to all

Absolutely beautiful site. My partner and I stayed in one of the new Castaway Sands Holiday Homes. So much space and loved the covered verander (as expected, it rained on our holiday but we could still sit outside and enjoy the view), we watched every sunset! We had dinner one night in The Braes, it was fairly quiet but I can imagine it gets busy during the holidays. The food was great and the staff were really friendly. We really enjoyed the entertainment too. We also got pizzas from Papa John's one night (be rude not too!), again the staff were really friendly and helpful (they helped me order correctly to avoid ingredients I'm allergic to). The site is so well situated for a walk into St Andrews. Just wish we had more time to fit more site seeing in. Looking forward to going back again next year.

Lovely quiet site well maintained we visited in our camper-van and loved every minute of our stay previous reviews raised concerns over the toilet block and although dated was clean and the facilities offered more than adequate pitches are a good size although they do have a slight slope I would certainly return only negative is wi-fi incurs a charge to tourers and for the price I'd expect it to be included.Iwould recommend the site to any tourers visiting St Andrews.

St Andrews Holiday Park is the place to stay if you are booking a residential van, not the case if you’re touring ie Motorhome or Caravan. The site is well placed overlooking and within walking distance to St Andrews a great location. However the toilets / shower certainly fall short, an upgrade or even a serious deep clean could only help, we were there for 3 days and never saw the toilets / showers being cleaned, not ideal. Oh and let’s not even mention the toilet waste facilities. I think Abbyford Leisure need to spend a bit more of there profits on basic facilities rather than the very nice pub and restaurant.

As before, the toilet block is outdated and soiled. Food in the bar produced the stoggiest chips ever. Mentioned it to staff who didn't bat an eyelid. For the price it appears tourers are the poor relations. Their answer will probably be take it or leave it. Penny pinching owners, shame on you

A nice site but it could be so much better. The site sits up the hill out of town towards Fairmont StAndrews. There are service buses run to and from the town that stop outside the e Terence to the park or a taxi will set you back around £6.50. The pitch’s are not quite level but near enough. The facilities are a little tired and there are a couple of easy things that could be done to make the site better. The grey waste water disposal seemed blocked allowing the waste water to stand on the concrete surface. The taps in the gents need to be pressed to get water which comes out with great pressure hits the basin and then spays everywhere. As soon as the tap is released the water stops so you cannot was your hands under running water. The urinals cannot be used if the 1st one is in use as there is no room to get past. Dish washing area could do with a bin so that the sinks can be cleared of food matter after you have washed your pots.

We came here with our three young children. All under 4. We came the first week of July. We were on a touring pitch. Pitches were squashed together, no privacy and the caravans that were parked for the season weren’t being maintained. The facility blocks were absolutely horrible. I stepped foot in them once and never again. Dirty. The site was very noisy, people making noise, children running about after 2AM! I am not one to write bad reviews but I was kicking myself I didn’t look at reviews outwith their website before we went. The static caravan part of the site looked a lot nicer and I would have probably enjoyed staying there. Touring - never again!

We are staying in a very nice clean static caravan whose owner is one of the best….however.. the site and it’s owners must be the worst.. it’s October and the campsite is so dark at night 60% of the lighting is not on. Dog owners on the site seem to not care about picking up the poop …it’s everywhere. The clubhouse which sells food is like the kennel club dogs barking and again owners who don’t care. It’s a disgrace
