We stayed here using a voucher deal. The hotel and restaurants are lovely and the staff are fantastic. I cannot thank the two restaurant staff and receptionist enough when i became ill during dinner (not caused by the meal) from what I had of the meal it was really good. Bed wasn't the softest but we asked for a high...

We stayed here at the beginning of March for 3 nights. We had a family room with was huge (we were told it was the biggest room in the hotel). Our 2 kids were playing with two other children in a music competition and also had two nights of playing in the Park Bar which was just a two minute...

Myself and my fiancee stayed here as we had tickets to Cirque Du Soliel at the SEC just a short walk away. We checked in quickly, the lass on the front desk was friendly and helpful. The reception, bars and restaurant look like they've been refurbished recently, dark colours and a thick plush carpet made for a cosy and comfortable...

My husband and I recently stayed at The Lorne Hotel on a 5pm overnight deal. I had asked for a decent room as we were celebrating a special occasion but our room was decidedly average. Although very clean the wallpaper was stained and coming off the wall in some places and our view was awful. The bed was comfortable but...

Stayed here for 4 nights, the only probelm i had was with the access to rooms, it was like a maze, i needed to get through 4 fire doors to get to my room and the lights were automatic so it only light up when you open the fire door. A but scary at night. Other than that everything was...

Hi Aldys T, Thank you for your review. I am sorry you found the motion activated lights to be scary at night, they do go on as you walk into the halls, but it can be very dark beforehand. I am glad you enjoyed your stay overall and I will pass on all your comments. We hope to see you...

Highly recommended. The Lorne is a friendly hotel. Clean and super breakfasts. I have stayed previously and would definitely stay again. It is close to the Hydro for concerts/events. It has a bus stop just outside for those who prefer to use transport rather than walk.

Basically, it was ok. The Hotel itself was situated a 15 minute walk from the city centre. Parking was easy enough along with check-in. We were given a small but adequate room, comfy bed and lovely decorated bathroom. We decided after a walk to the centre we would just have dinner at the hotel- OOPS! Couldn't fault the service itself,...

Stayed a few times for proximity to Scottish Exhibition Conference Centre. Stayed again on a Friday night. Poor bits: No bath. Cold room on arrival. Soulless bar. Very noisy hallway at 3 am. Bad sleep. Parking is a lucky draw. Getting a room rate bargain is a lucky dip. Ok bits: Staff helpful. Interior is ok. Get in and out...
