A few gripes, all perfectly justified by the £13 a night price tag. Great location for a hotel. Seconds from a pub, tesco and subway station all at once! Both members of staff by whom I was served were quick and helpful, especially when I left something behind and came back later. Beds were highly uncomfortable and rooms were cramped...

The worst hotel we've ever slept in! Dirty room, smelly sheets(hair from previous guests on the sherts) and towels, cieling was falling apart and was full of dust and dampness. In bathroom there were remaining soaps from previous guests. Only good thing is the location, TV and complimentary coffee/tea in the room. Staff was ok.

Who would expect someone to sleep in this? Absolutely vile! A hostel is cleaner than this! Would not recomend this at all not even for a homeless person! All bunkbeds are broke, wripped sheets the lot!

This hotel/hostel is very average. The room was so small our bags barely fit. They have turned a hotel room into a hostel room. Beds are not very comfortable, wifi is not very good. Locations is really good. There is no atmosphere at all. Staff are helpful.

I get it, it's cheap, but these guys are really the best if the worst. I expected to find an essential but clean place to sleep. What I found was a dirty environment, a smelly rug, dodgy stains on the bed sheets, and unwelcoming staff. Had I read earlier about other people's past unreal adventures in these premises I would...

St. Enoch Hostel has an amazing location in Glasgow City Centre, right at the end of Buchanan Street. The dorm was clean but the hostel itself is old. The bunk beds weren't comfortable though. It's more than sufficient for one night.

This is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in but it does have some redeeming points. Its very near to the centre and the metro so everything is close at hand. There is free wi fi in the rooms so that was handy. The beds were comfortable, We had clean towels everyday and I take my hat off...

This was the cheapest double in Glasgow so my husband and I didn't expect much. Easy to find and very central. The double was four bunk beds. It was warm and cosy and the shower worked and towels and coffee were provided. Ok for a short stay if you leave early. Quite noisy as there is a bar next door...

How do I begin? Room no 1 at the St Enoch is the worst, shabbiest, dirtiest room I have ever seen! And I went on interrail in the 90s and have stayed in hostels in Marroco… On the bright side, it’s very central and the staff at reception were nice enough, and that’s it for bright…on the dark side, uncomfortable...

I booked a room for one. The room was god enough for a single person only. I don't suggest it for a group of people or even 2 people. The bathrooms are still good as compared to the room size. The location is good though. Walking distance from the station. The street is really interesting.
