The room was comfortable and clean. The location was very convenient to everything that Glasgow center has to offer. The staff were helpful and welcoming.
The hotel is in a beautiful old building which is connected to the central rail station.
Beautiful old hotel. I stayed one night for a conference. Centrally situated for exploring Glasgow. Decor beautiful. Hotel room was spacious. The only downside was the heating wasn’t working in the room or the room next door where my colleague was staying. Maintenance were unable...More
I couldn't say our stay was without problems. Getting to the hotel by car is an issue, the heating in our room didn't work, and the restaurant was under staffed on the Saturday night. I always judge any business on how they deal with such...More

Whilst the hotel is in a fantastic location that is its downfall. Our room overlooked the train station, you can see the bedroom window from the ticket barrier.

It's on Floor 2, which I think is mainly suites (2 rooms that have been renovated into a nice 2-room suite.) My husband spent a morning there on his own computer as the wifi was a little more powerful than in our room and there was a printer and a few office supplies. If you hit it early enough in the morning, there's a nice selection of hot coffees and water hot enough to make a nice cup of tea. (That was big for me, as I don't drink coffee.) They also put out a nice tired tray with small pastries and biscuits in the morning--but you've got to hit it before everyone else, as it didn't seem to be replenished once it was gone. However, it wasn't open during a Saturday event on the floor below or on Sunday.
