This hotel is next to the waterfront near the centre of Glasgow and about 20 minutes taxi ride from the airport. The hotel has a very nice reception, bar and restaurant area. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

Very stoney faced female staff, lack of warmth and friendliness, particularly one of the bar staff, a red headed woman, Charged me over £2 of difference for the same round of drinks! Clearly didn't want to be at her work that evening! Breakfast was overpriced, sausages/bacon

The little problem was with one particular member of bar staff. A young lady with red hair but no name badge who clearly did not want to be at work on Saturday 2nd February. Check in was quick and efficient even although it was a particularly busy time. The gentleman on

The roads are a one way system around there and the taxi would most likely have to go back into the centre to get to the hotel so I would recommend just getting a taxi from the city centre.

Hi we have used the crowne plaza hotel for years now and the choice of alcohol in the club lounge is pretty basic, white/red wine bottled lager etc but I have never seen prosecco both either free or for sale.

Have not been to a particular Christmas do here, but when we were here, there were a few 'parties' done. They were pretty much the usual kind of dresses for ladies, and informal wear for the gents. Guessing from that, I would think that the dress code for any Christmas do is pretty much the same everywhere else. Hope that helps.
