I have not stopped in this hotel for a number of years and was surprised how much the area has changed. The hotel itself, well certainly my room was very good and appeared to have been recently refurbished. It was very clean, warm and comfortable. The hotel bar is also very good and very pleasant for a hotel bar. Breakfast...

we were going to the disney on ice show at the hydro next to the crowne plaza, and popped in for a dinner for four. we were attended by a young bar waiter who attended us for the whole of our meal and his service was outstanding; he was polite, courteous, helpful, competent, efficient, and totally professional, what a great credit...

I was greeted professionally and attentively by reception staff whilst checking in and was soon in my very spacious room on the 15th floor. The room was clean and inviting with a super king size bed (and not one that sinks in the middle because it's a poor mattress and two singles). The whole room was comfortable with adequate lighting...

As a regular customer of the Holiday Inn We booked this For my birthday expecting something more luxurious and the bathroom was very basic. We stayed here on Saturday 25th, firstly I found the hotel very average for £169 per night, not the standard of Crowne Plazas in other cities such as London. The main disappointment was a cold shower...

Overall I really enjoyed this hotel - room was very spacious and clean. Bar area was extremely busy both prior to and after event at Secc - staff however were excellent in trying to serve everyone however they need more staff when concerts are on. Unfortunately on the Sunday morning 27th Nov there was no hot water so washing was...

This is a superb hotel if you are going to the SECC. Large hotel that had a personal touch. Rooms were large with excellent extras e.g. Water, toiletries, chocolate on bed and sleep spray (a nice touch). The bar prices were not too bad for the location but it's not cheap! Was good unfortunate when we were there that they...

My partner and I needed a weekend away and settled on Glasgow as both of us have never been. Have to say this hotel is gorgeous, and you're just opposite the BBC building which is beautiful at night time. The staff were so welcoming, and our room was really pretty. Breakfast has to be, hands down, the best breakfast I've...

Nice hotel, basic but clean. A powercut on our last morning would make me consider future stops, staff seemed clueless and no emergency lighting meant struggling along dark corridors to the stairs and a way out. Not the greatest moment and hotel should have had a contingency plan.

We liked the hotel. Our room on the third floor (321) was spacious, clean and quiet. We also liked the restaurant. Went there for dinner. Friendly and efficient staff, the home made chicken liver pate was very good.Very well prepared steak dish, really tasty. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of options. Coffee excellent.
