The current wife & I stayed on a DBB deal through 5pm.com - I called the day before to pay for an upgrade but on checking in, we were given this free - nice touch. There were some "kitchen issues" & bit of a delay in the restaurant but despite this, we found the set menu for 5pm customers of...

This hotel is housed in an intriguing building. Coats of arms and a rather pointless water feature in the atrium at odds with a characterful lift and original ceramic tiles. It is however clean and the staff were wide awake and cordial. Room was well appointed and bed comfortable. It is by no means a top end luxury hotel but...

Everything I needed, in a great location - knocks the socks off other hotels around the same price range as it really was a wee home away from home. Staff were excellent. Great central location for enjoying Glasgow. I will definitely be a return guest.

Very nice hotel with exceptionally good staff. The dinner menu is very limited but the staff did their best to make it s a very good experience. .The breakfast was lovely and cooked to order. The hotel is very centrally situated and convenient for all city centre shops.

The building is not your typical hotel, and is well placed for central Glasgow. I'd agree with other reviewers the a room at the back is important for a quiet nights sleep. Rooms are adequate and clean, with the comfiest beds I've found anywhere. Staff were very good. Restaurant menu is limited, but the breakfast can't be faulted,

Tuesday night business visit. Hotel generally fine if quirky (everything tiled in the public areas! Slightly too close to a Victorian public convenience - and I mean the original tiles -, but had its own style). Room comfortable for price. Breakfast really excellent. But insist on a room at the back. Massive well equipped gym across road is 24 hours...

I stay here occasionally on business and find it ideally located near to my office and close to the city centre. I quite like it's mixture of original and modern fixtures giving it a really unique feel and the staff are very welcoming and friendly.
