LOCATION Located at G3, around 20 mins walk away from Queen’s Street Station and Central Station. Tesco Express, bar and restaurants with only 2 mins walk. Need to walk a steep slope (Garnet Street, or other parallel streets), not recommended for disable or elderly, unless you get there by taxi (still a few steps in front of the main entrance)....

Difficult access for parking.Probably inaccessible for wheelchair access.Bit pricey for the night stay probably due to events at Secc and Hydro.Room was spacious enough clean with new carpeting and large television.en suite bathroom looked as if it had been recently modernised. Bed was comfortable enough but was low down to floor as it appeared to be a sofabed.Despite wooden blinds,outside...

McLay's always seemed to pop up on accommodation booking sites as one of the cheapest and graded as a 2/3 star. This always kinda put me off booking here and went for the larger chains instead. When planning a trip to Glasgow for an international football game we were struggling to find somewhere to stay at a reasonable price for...

I have visited this guest house twice now and I must say the internet is a blast, so happy with that. I can remember breakfast was good first time I visited but this time I didn't bother waking up for breakfast. Location is good and staff is very helpful. Clean and tidy, what else do you want? Would have loved...

I've stayed here numerous times and really like the place. Good value for money, great location, tasty breakfast and the receptionist is really nice and helpful. The rooms are often a little bit on the worn down side but always clean. It certainly doesn't lack character.

Stayed here for nearly 2 weeks. Can not fault the room other then it was a bit warm but I'm capable of opening a window so that was no problem. All the staff I spoke with was really friendly and helpful. Not sure what people are complaining about especially for the price it's a brilliant stay. Will be back if...

This hotel provides excellent value in the heart of Glasgow. Stayed one night for a concert. Check in was very quick and efficient. We obtained a parking voucher overnight which cost only £2. We stayed in a quadruple room with ensuite bathroom. The room was large and the beds were very comfortable. Whilst the hotel is quite dated, the room...

Building is old, but rooms are very clean. Shared bath is fine. Fantastic breakfast!! Great black pudding and coffee! Convenient location, can walk to everything. Very nice staff. Everyone at front desk was super awesome, at all hours. Loved it. Great wifi and a chillout lounge with TV.

Staff extremely friendly and a cheap stay, parking a bit of a pain (get a ticket from the hotel), room and shared bathroom run down. Walls and windows are paper thin, hardly slept a wink because of the noise of traffic, loud drunk people and music from clubs. Wouldn't stay again because of this.

My girlfriend and I booked this hotel after the Premier Inn in the city refused to accept card payments over the internet, I went on Booking.com and saw that this was roughly out of the main city and only £55 for a night WITH breakfast included. As it had a 4/5 rating, we assumed it would be a good hotel....
