As usual ibis produced a clean comfortable room at a budget. A few of the cost saving measures such as disposable plastic cups in the rooms are annoying though. A good choice for a no frills business trip.

Matt T, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We provide ceramic cups in the room along with the disposable plastic ones. Never hesitate to ask one of our lovey team members who will happily provide you with glasses at your request. All the best Sapphire

I am a regular at this hotel because I have to come to Glasgow every other month for 2-3 weeks. For the last 4 years I used almost exclusively Ibis because you get the best value for the money. I like that I have Internet access and telephone in the room. The staff is helpful and kind.

Hotel is centrally placed with good access to the shopping area, good services, good breakfast. The level of accommodation corresponding to the price, but very satisfactory. The transport services mainly by taxi, quick.

After reading some threads here I thought it would be like sleeping at the Indy 500. Not at all. Room was quiet and I'm a smoker so when I was out front even the street was quiet. Anyway I guess it's basic but still clean and nice. Walking distance to most stuff and AP shuttle is 2 blocks away. It...

Dear tomwaitsforone, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We had issues indeed in the past. Thankfully after working hard with Police Scotland and the City Council we now have new rules in place for the surrounding roads meaning a quiet nights sleep will be had by all for from now on! Fantastic! Happy to hear you...

Friendly welcome and allocated a room on the top floor. The room was at the back of the hotel and was reasonably quiet. The only problem was some machinery that kept on switching on and off through there night. Not sure if it was an air conditioning system or something similar but it was very annoying. The a/c system in...

Dear Provan4, Thank you for taking the time to write a review about our hotel. I am glad you enjoyed the new decoration of our refurnished Poppy Blue rooms. However I do apologies for the inconvenient machinery noise. It was the air conditioning from an other building near the hotel. I do understand, yet don't hesitate to call our reception...

There is no tv in the rooms if you like that when you sleep. Also the bathroom felt like your in a space ship if that's the best way to explain. It's like a mobile home bathroom in the room. There was a good amount of plugs around for getting ready and charging phones

Rooms very dated, artex walls as well as ceilings. Very patchy too. No soundproofing internally or in external walls. "Boy racers" use the surrounding streets so almost impossible to get to sleep for e noise. Shower room in my room was a "pod" type and the toilet was a wall fixed one and was loose. I will not be returning.
