We were a family of 5, including children, and we had booked two rooms in the Charring Cross Guest House for a night, more as a stopover, than for actual sightseeing. It was a last minute booking, and we couldn't get anything else. It's located near Charing Cross station, as the name suggests, though not as close as you would...

Perfect little B&B! Would highly recommend to all my comedy colleagues and fellow travellers looking to stay in central Glasgow. Couldn't believe the bargain. No hot food allowed in rooms was my only issue, but they kindly allowed us to eat in the dining room

Hotel set in very hilly part of Glasgow so if not keen on hills and stairs it's not for you. Once walking on a more flatter Road, there plenty shops bars etc. Hotel roughly same distance from Glasgow Central and Queen Street

Room was small and the toilet/shower cubicle even smaller. Bed was comfy and the place was clean. Reception staff were very helpful but when going for breakfast the first morning because I dared to ask for items to be removed from my cooked breakfast,to avoid waste, the entire dining room were treated to a loud barage of negativity from the...

The guesthouse is basic, but clean and the breakfast is lovely. Comfortable beds in small rooms. Only thing I didn't like was the stony attitude of some of the staff and that it was a shared toilet. Overall average stay.

Room was really great, bed was comfy, and the owner was really helpful when we needed help, even were able to use his telephone! Really enjoyed my stay there and the guest house is located so close to everything in Glasgow, really liked that! Would always visit again, especially for the little price we paid!
