House of Gods hotel receives mixed feedback on value, with some guests feeling the cost is steep, although the luxurious 'Treat Me Like I'm Famous' package can offer worthwhile perks. The hotel's commitment to cleanliness is universally celebrated, with spotless rooms and well-kept facilities. The staff's friendly and attentive service often earns high marks, though the bar service may have room for improvement. The cozy yet small rooms are well-furnished, adding to the comfort of guests. Moreover, the hotel's decadent decor and unique amenities, such as the rooftop bar and nightly cookies and milk, contribute to an opulent and memorable atmosphere.

Myself and my partner had the best night here! We stayed for one night with the “treat me like I’m famous” package which was excellent from start to finish. We were handed a glass of Prosecco the minute we walked through the door and staff were very welcoming. The room was stunning with a bottle of Prosecco in an ice bucket and a box of chocolates on arrival and the bathroom was lovely white marble with a waterfall shower. The lighting was right up my street, as most of the hotel has quite moody lighting with no windows you just felt like you could leave the outside world behind and just enjoy yourself. We went to the rooftop sacred garden in the evening for cocktails which were delicious. After some more cocktails in the downstairs bar we went back to our room and got the milk and cookies which were delivered to our room after pressing a button! If you enjoy sleeping in a dark room then this is the place for you. As the window is faux stained glass there is no bright light waking you up at the crack of dawn and we got to enjoy a nice long lie. We went down for breakfast at 10:30am at the sacred garden and it was so peaceful and the food was lovely. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we really couldn’t have faulted the whole experience. We are already thinking of returning soon for two nights as we enjoyed it that much!

What an amazing hotel! We stayed on a Friday evening, Check in was smooth and we were welcomed with a glass of prosecco then spoke through our package at reception before being walked to our room by a member of staff. When we got to our room they explained all of the unique features such as mirror built into the TV and the butler button. Later in the evening we went to the Sacred garden rooftop where we had a few small plates each. The food was great especially the The flat iron flatbread. The cocktail menu on the rooftop is different to the one in the cocktail lounge so we had a few drinks here them moved downstairs. The drinks menu there is like a magazine, very cool. Again cocktails were 10/10, especially the champagne supernova. We pressed the cookies and milk button before bed and a few minutes later they were delivered to our room by one of the butlers. Breakfast was served on the rooftop, Whole HOG was perfect and washed down by a mimosa. The staff were great and nothing was ever a hassle for them. We really felt famous during our stay. We have already booked to come back. Would definitely recommend.

Had an outstanding stay here for my partner's birthday. The hotel is gorgeous, but the staff absolutely make the place. Sharn checked us in and showed us up to our room, and also served us some drinks later on, and could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Really set the tone and made us feel like we were in for a very special stay.

We booked one of the Presidential Suites, which I would say was worth it for the twin showers and the bathtub alone! Very roomy, gorgeous mood lighting and massive shuttered windows all round if you want to take in the view from the 4th floor. Very comfortable 4 poster bed, plenty of pillows, wardrobe full of fresh fluffy towels and great toiletries provided. The decor (both in the room and all through the hotel) is really considered, the whole place feels opulent and rich. It's a Maximalists dream come true!

We went for the Treat Me Like I'm Famous package which I found good value, the chilled prosecco waiting for us on arrival set the mood nicely and we enjoyed having our cocktails brought up before dinner. I'd recommend booking in advance if you want to visit the cocktail lounge, we were glad we did as it was very busy, but the staff were once again on the ball and we didn't have to wait long at all for drinks.

Breakfast in the rooftop Sacred Garden was a lovely end to the stay, the food was good all round and (surprising no one at this point!) the staff really were phenomenal.

All in all, it's a gorgeous hotel, the service is outstanding and I thoroughly recommend you treat yourself to a stay here. We will absolutely be back.

Treat me like I’m famous package has probably suffered some kind of scaling down since this place opened. A box of chocolates compromised 4 nr (all coffee yuck ) in a tiny box like something you’d get with a bill for dinner. The rose petals are plastic, 4 balloons, a bottle of Prosecco on ice for arrival. Two tiny cocktails, £40 bar tab but upstairs menu limited compared to downstairs. You will need to supplement that. I think it used to include pizzas but now there is no food. Milk and cookies that we didn’t bother with. Mimosas at breakfast which are already included on the breakfast menu anyway, mimosas are but toast or condiments aren’t, bit of a miserable breakfast but nice enough. Rooms are not small they’re TINY, claustrophobic due to fake window, no main light but when the toilet light is on you can see dust floating around. Should say staff were all very lovely but this is a gimmick and you’d be better off booking a nicer hotel.

This glamorous hotel is all about a night of treating yourself. Located in merchants city is great for a couples night in or a girls cocktail day.
You walk into the lounge which does great cocktails presented in a magazine style menu. Decor is very sexy with the velvet seats and gold monkeys and best for evenings as it’s very dark so recommend for evenings
But be sure to book seats as very busy.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We got the treat me like I’m famous package with a few extras due to our stay date being moved several times.

Rooms are very small but cosy, with the rose petals and balloons and great decor so ideal for one night max.

We had the sacred garden booked for early evening which was lovely with the sun still out. They offer nibbles to eat but don’t have a proper dinner menu
So you do have to go out for a proper meal but plenty in merchant city right outside.

The stay on a whole is pricey but highlightly recommend trying for a one off Or special occasion with your partner. We have done the Edinburgh locked up like I’m famous package also which came with pizza 10/10 but the Glasgow hotel is definitely bigger and better. Treat yourself…

We have booked House of Gods stay as we have already experience a lovely stay at Edinbrough and we fell in love. However, Edinbrough has been phenomenal, I can't say the same regarding Glasgow House of Gods. Room has been lovely and bigger, customer service in check in area has been spot on, but somehow once you pass the area it seems to lack of everything. Once we came into the room, we had lovely surprise in form of balloons and rose petals as it has been our aniversary ( Haven't book nor choose it as package) which has been lovely. I have book a rooftop ( Secret Garden ) table for a cocktails at evening and it has been hard to get attention from a bar stuff and even though we have received first round, we waited for a while to get attention of any waiter. It took us couple attends and help from other table to get someone to serve us. So, if you going to secret garden, please don't sit to the back as you will get ignored from lack of visibility. Even the standard of uniform wasn't anyhow close to standard of house of gods represents itself.
At the morning we had breakfast included and even it came quiet quick, it arrivad partially cold and eggs has been overcooked and dry. I personally have been dissapointed from my eggs benedict. We have choose a pot of tea which was lovely, but expect only 2 sugars per pot. It seems like hotel is on a budget or something as I have requested more sugar and we had 2 pots, we have received only 2 more sugars. It makes us feel a bit uncomfortable as it can be annoying to ask for more sugar and usually you expect to be given couple of sachet to don't feel akward to ask, but not here. You are on limited supply.
Maybe we are spoiled by choices, but comperesment to Edinbrough House of Gods and their standard, it has been just ordinary ovepriced stay in Glasgow. It has been a bit dissapointing as it is kind of new hotel in Glasgow and many people talk about it.

This is a new boutique hotel in Glasgow city centre and it did not disappoint. I traveled solo and had the complementary treat me like I’m famous package included which was offered to commemorate the opening. I really was spoiled. Included was drinks on arrival, a good size box of luxuary chocolates, a bar tab, cocktails and Champagne in my room, cookies and milk at bedtime and a good breakfast in the rooftop restaurant.
The hotel has a lift to each floor and up to the pretty rooftop restaurant. There is also stairs for those who prefer to walk.
The bar is well laid out, nicely decorated too with a quirky decor and the most beautiful hand painted wallpaper by Degourney.
The best part of my trip was definitely the service provided by the staff, nothing was too much bother.
Emma at reception was very welcoming, polite and helpful.
Abbie the bartender showed me how to mix cocktails and gave me tips,
Guy the waiter in the restaurant was very pleasant and chatty, I could see he enjoyed his job.
Nathan greeted me in the restaurant for breakfast, and made sure I had everything I needed.
Then there was David and Justine who oversee the staff, they too were lovely.
I had a meal in the restaurant in the evening which was the seafood board and ate it outside on the balcony, not a great idea as the gulls were rather interested so drinks on the balcony good but not food.
The room was nicely decorated, bed very comfortable and the walk in wet room was good.
I particularly liked the ladies restroom down stairs from the bar, it was kitted out like the garden of Eden, flowers hanging down from the roof, lovely plush velvet seating, large mirrors, all very decade.
I will defiantly go back.

My wife and I needed to book accommodation for a concert and within our budget we had an option. Generic Hotel number 37 or House of Gods Glasgow. We took the gamble on House of Gods and we were so happy with every aspect of our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, the décor was unique, and the breakfast was delicious.

There was a real sense that when the doors to the lobby closed behind you the busy noisy world of Glasgow vanished and you had a peaceful relaxing stay ahead of you.

Our booking was a Cabin room, everything you could need in a room. If you need loads of space, then I’d recommend booking one of the larger rooms but this was never a deal breaker for us. The room had everything you need, a big comfy bed, a powerful shower, and welcome balloons because why not.

There are various packages available to spruce up your stay if you wish, as it stands, we booked directly on the hotels site and got breakfast included rather than other accommodation sites. The breakfast is in their rooftop “Garden of Eden” and was delicious. We didn’t get a chance to go to the bar during our stay but will make time for it on our next.

The hotel doesn’t allow kids, which for parents getting away is a nice change. The hotel might not be for everyone and at first, we weren’t sure ourselves, but it won us over very quickly. It caters to giving you a unique stay without going overboard, It has character where other hotels may try to stay neutral. For us, to fault it would be being extremely picky. Nothing was a deal breaker and instead will have us returning in the future.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this stunning hotel for a night to celebrate our recent marriage. We couldn’t be more impressed with the quality of service from all staff members we dealt with, particularly the girls at reception upon our arrival on Monday afternoon and Paul who served us drinks at the rooftop bar in the evening. The value for money of the “famous” package was incredible and the room itself was very comfortable with great facilities. Also really appreciated the signed card from the staff members. We won’t forget our stay for a very long time and will definitely be returning to celebrate another special occasion in the future!

Overall this hotel is average. I personally won’t be staying again. I don’t think it’s worth the money. We got to our room which was nice but extremely small the beds are not comfortable and you get one uncomfortable pillow. We got cocktails to the room which were lovely. We went out for dinner then came back to the hotel for drinks which were alright. We ordered our milk and cookies to our room and didn’t arrive. I feel you pay A LOT for this hotel so everything should be as close to perfect and we feel for us it wasn’t. This hotel gets good reviews online (tiktok, facebook. Etc) when you see that experience online you think you will get the same, when you don’t it really does put you off coming back. I think the hotel should give the same standard to each guest but it’s clear they don’t. I also got the “treat me like I’m famous” package. You got a £40 bar tab however I was charged for the drinks we had in the bar that were supposed to be on the £40 tab. I tried to explain to hotel but it wasn’t understood. The positive is the staff are lovely but the hotel isn’t what it’s made up to be.

I’m really not one to write a review like this or complain but considering how much you pay for this hotel. I definitely don’t feel like I’ve had the “treat me like I’m famous”. As myself and my boyfriend both believed the online reviews we seen but quite clearly you need to be some “influencer” to actually get that type of service out of the hotel. Next time I’m staying in Glasgow I’ll stick to the travel lodge or motel one. You definitely get what u actually pay for with these hotels.
