Very nice staff, the woman in reception was very nice and helpful with us.The room was not very nice, but a very comfortable bed.The room smelled of men deodorant. We spent there really only the night as we went out for dinner but it was expensive for what it was.Breakfast was very poor.

Loved this hotel great rooms (I've stayed in 2) and mostly friendly staff. Can't fault the first member of staff on reception but the other lady clearly hates her job and I felt less than welcome. Never the less... thanks to the nice one for being so friendly to me and for the bananas!

I stayed here between 14-16 March 2017 with my husband, whilst the staff that run the hotel are friendly enough the actual hotel it's self if very poor, its very dated and in need of some serious modernisation, it could also do with a dam good clean throughout, and the cleaners need to note when vacuuming the carpets the edges...

It's close to bus stops to bring you into central Glasgow while also being only a short walk from shops, bars and clubs. Anything you need in a walking distance. I'll definitely be staying...

This establishment far exceeded our expectations for the money we paid. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Although in a busy area with our room being at the back of the hotel it was quiet. Very convenient for visiting the botanical gardens or a stop over after a gig at Oran Mor. Less than 10 minute walk to the...

We booked a room for 2 adults and a child via booking.com, upon arrival we were informed they had only passed on 2 adults not the child and we were being charged £15 extra a night for an extra bed for the child even though we didn't need an extra room as our room had 2 double beds. The breakfast...

We found the Clifton Hotel to be nicely located - easy to get to the bus route, and in theory the metro, though that was unavailable during our trip. Parking is difficult, as they have minimal parking on site, and do charge a daily rate for it during your stay. This is preferable to the street parking however, which could...
