Nice place, Ellen the host is very welcoming and approachable, the accommodation warm, good breakfast and very conveniently located. Ellen also allowed us access to the boiler cupboard to aid drying kit, very helpful. Will use again.

Spent 2 nights with family with no complaints, place was warm and welcoming. Ellen the host couldn't have been nicer. Breakfast was good more than enough. Handy for most things in village. Hope to be back soon.

Stayed here for a couple of nights in October. Was a great choice! Ellen, the host, is absolutely lovely and she made sure our stay was great. This guesthouse is located on the main street, however, there is no noise even on the weekends so you will get a great nights sleep! Beds are very comfy and rooms are well...

My husband and I were in transit from the Inverness area to Edinburgh, by car, and were changing our travel plans about every half hour... We pulled into Aviemore late afternoon, ran into the Tourism office, and a quick call on their part sent us to "Vermont." Helen greeted us at the door ten minutes later, showed us where to...

We had a 3 night stay at the Vermont Guesthouse and couldn't have picked a better base to travel the highlands. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and made you feel at home. The cooked breakfast was delicious and we even had a breakfast tray of cereal and fruit for our early morning starts nothing was too much trouble. Will...

Looked after from the start. Comfortable beds and friendly, knowledgeable service. We enjoyed the in-room television and tea/coffee for night times. Lovely bathroom too. The Vermont had a nice atmosphere and was well-placed a few minutes walk from the centre of the village.

After camping for a week my partner and myself enjoyed a great nights sleep. The bed was comfy and the breakfast was good. It was a great place to stay for the odd night or two but is probably a bit basic for any longer. It was perfect for us at the time, though. The shower was just a little...

Spent a couple of nights here on a short trip to Aviemore. Perfectly fine for a short stay but wouldn't spend a week here. Breakfast is really early for holidays, wifi was hit and miss and rooms small. Having said that, the owner is lovely and helpful and you feel very at home.

Arrived to a friendly welcome from Ellen. Shown to our room which was a very good size and cleaned to a high standard. The shower lacked pressure and the fan stayed on for what seemed liked forever after the light was switched off and was very annoying! Breakfast was good with choices of cereal, cheeses, yoghurts, fruit etc and good Scottish...

Good location near centre , clean. No frills ( such as brown bread, toiletries etc) Breakfast was freshly cooked but basic. No choice of time for breakfast - 8.30am bit early when in holiday mode. This plus strict 10am check out would put me off returning.

Thank ScotRose24
