The Old Minister's House was the prettiest B&B of four that we stayed at while in Scotland. The exterior is beautiful and very well kept. Inside, the design is modern and fresh while still keeping that country house feel. We chose the ground-floor room for the price. We had no noise issues and the room was very clean and the...

Great beds, big bathtub, tea and cookies in room. Quiet. Great breakfast served by Mary, who is so pleasant every morning and eager to bring breakfast. Hot tea waiting each morning. Shiela is the owner, and check in in 4-6 pm, or make prior arrangement. Easy enough rule to follow for a really great bed and breakfast near hiking trails,...

My friend Billy and I stayed here for Thunder in the Glens weekend and had a brilliant stay.We arrived later than anticipated but was met by Shelagh who was really nice. She explained everything to us and led us to a twin room. The room was excellent, I felt as if i was floating when i lay on my bed...

Thank you for a wonderful stay myself and my two daughters had a fantastic few days. Shelagh the owner absolutely went the extra mile for us, from the incredible room, attention, local advice and tips. One of the best breakfasts we have all had to include my tricky daughters. There is a DVD library and a honesty bar, so for...

We are just back from a lovely couple of days at the ministers house, we had previously visited in September. Lovely relaxing guest house cannot fault anything , the attention to detail is exceptional. Breakfast of eggs benedict the best we have ever had, we had been fortunate to have eggs benedict at a hotel with a Michelin star restaurant...

However the website says to call or email if you would prefer an earlier or later check in...We called after the initial email and was told that check is 4-6PM...

Very centrally located that makes this guest house very convenient. It's only a 10 minute walk into the main street filled with shops, cafes, outdoor clothing shops, hiking stores etc. The owner greets you upon arrival and shows you to your room after taking the time to guide you about the area. You may choose the time you would like...

Check in is between 4 and 6, no exceptions! We were delayed with business in England and got stuck in traffic due to an accident, followed by a lot of construction. Got a rather curt phone call at 6:15 asking why we were late, and if we were coming. Confused, I told her we were on her way. She then...

Everything was perfect, beginning to end. When our train was delayed ( until midnight!) getting to Aviemore, Shelagh made sure we had transportation arranged to the house, a code for the locks and sent us all other appropriate info we needed that evening. The house is lovely and well kept, with excellent decorating and updating.House is spotless and everyone extremely...
