My wife and I stayed at the Old Minister's House from the 27th to 30th July. It is the best B&B we have stayed in. The house is lovingly looked after and full of character and charm. On arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome by Shelagh the owner. Our bedroom was beautifully presented with the view from the...

This is a lovely old house which has been done up beautifully. The wonderful character and charm of the house have not been lost with updating into what is supposed to be a 5 star experience. My room was lovely- large, all amenities, lovely bathroom, great bed that you just sank into. The lounge area was very comfortable with welcoming...

The Old Minister's House is the perfect place for a romantic retreat, it's in a brilliant location and the rooms are decorated beautifully, very luxurious. The bed is extremely comfortable and the little treats in the room are a lovely touch. Breakfast was fantastic, delicious, and we had no problem booking a time for it-it's a small room so everyone...

I have made 20 trips to Scotland in the past 12 years of 2 weeks to 2 months duration, and I almost always stay in B&B's. I am certain I have stayed at more than 100 B&B's in that time, and this one is by far the finest I have ever encountered. I stayed here previously in 2003 under a...

This is a superb B&B. We thought it was one of the best-managed places we'd ever stayed in and represented superb value for money. Positives: - The breakfast. Oh my. This is up there with the very, very best breakfast experiences we've had anywhere. It really is that good. Everything was either made fresh or was carefully sourced and it...

This B and B had all of the amenities you could ask for. In the bathroom there were extra toothbrushes, toothpaste, washcloths, and a heated towel rack. In the cupboard there were bath robes and slippers. On the desk there was an array of teas and coffee, cookies, and a bottle of sherry that guests were encouraged to snack on....

Following our research on Trip Advisor and on a recommendation fro our son we spent three very enjoyable nights at The Old Ministers House. We found Shelagh very helpful and we followed her advice on where to eat particularly for my wife's birthday. For that evening we went next door to "The One Pot Borrowed" which was very nice. The...

We recently had a warm welcome and a wonderful night at this fab guest house. Huge attention to detail, everything that could possibly be done to ensure a comfortable stay, fresh milk & fresh coffee in my room for that early morning cup while looking out onto the Cairngorms, just brilliant. A small sherry in the bath with my book...

This B and B is beautifully decorated and the room had very nice touches, good coffees/teas/biscuits/sherry. The bed was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. However, I felt that we did not get a very warm welcome, being asked why we were there. We were asked to book a slot for breakfast which was a little too regimented for my liking...
