A group of 8 of us had an overnight stay here while doing the NC500. The hotel was lovely, rooms were spacious clean and fresh, breakfast was delicious and staff couldn't do enough for us. Would highly recommend this place!!

I couldn't quite get my head round this place. The building is classic victorian, with large rooms, high ceilings and big bays. The surrounding area is pretty run down, but that does mean that parking is easy. The owners have obviously put a lot of effort into the interior decor which, downstairs was a mixture of funky and very trad...

Ok from the outside it looks a bit run down and some of the decor and furniture has seen better days but I liked it .Staff are friendly and welcoming and the room I had as a single was huge with a large bathroom that had obviously once been another guest room .There is no restaurant in the hotel but...

I spent one night here due to working in the area. The hotel is pretty basic, no evening meals and no bar, so not really sure it's a hotel, but the room was very nice and spacious, and with it being the end of November, very warm as well. The staff were very nice and welcoming too. The town centre...

We arrived in Wick and due to unforeseen circumstances could not stay where we had booked. The Norseman Hotel was fully booked but the manager there was very helpful and phoned around a couple of places for us and found a double en-suite at the Breadablane. We could see that it was having some work done to it as the...

The sun was shining when we arrived in Wick and found the hotel. The hotel is older, and undergoing some improvements, but still retains it's old school charm. When we got to our room, there were enormous bay windows with a delicate veneer of lace for window shades. The bathroom was enormous, and modern. The staff was incredibly kind, and...

Hotel is well worn, not luxurious but charming. Rooms are large. Shower strong with plenty hot water. Beds comfortable with thick duvet. Staff friendly and relaxed. Breakfast was delicious and generous. Best value for money in Wick.

When we arrived I nearly didn't go in as the front of the building had scaffolding erected and we could just get to the front door with our bags. Once inside a friendly person on reception checked us in ( my wife, myself and our dog. ) I inquired about breakfast and was informed that as we were the only...

Some basic things that really ought not to be the case (I think this was room number 4, by the way): nowhere to hang towels. No rails, no hooks, no rings, no nothing, so we had to use the chair for one and the door knobs of the wardrobe for the other. The toilet seat didn't stay up, which is...

The place is lovely, clean and specious. The owner is very nice and serves a delicious full breakfast. My room was clean and comfy. The bed has top mattress. We like it a lot and will be back for a longer stay.
