Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice rooms, being done up and a few teething problems here and there but they are being sorted out, which i observed over the times I visited. The evening meal was good and the breakfast was excellent, especialy the freshly made fruit salad. The terrace with outdoor pizza oven will come into its own as the...

Lovely large room overlooking the outside seating area, was a bit noisy particularly when people were banging the door to the outside area during the evening, I expected this so was ok with it. The bed was king size and duvet etc was lovely however the mattress was very soft and seemed well used, it was the worst nights sleep...

Two single rooms we booked and mine was newly renovated, however very small and 'bijou'. The blind didn't go over the whole window, about an inch or so either side, so light let in. Clean though, with big TV. I was above the kitchen so a lot of banging/crashing and guests walking by my room until 11.30pm ish so I...

Having tried several B&B's in Inverness I tried the Redcliffe. It has been extensively renovated and is modern in style. I had a basement double room which was spacious with some interesting features, although the shower/bathroom was a bit tight. Some items e.g. towels were missing but quickly supplied on request. The issue I had was that the room was...

We had one of the basement rooms which, judging by previous reviews, has been upgraded. It was very clean, the bed was huge and really comfortable. The bathroom was completely spotless and was very well provisioned. Our only minor niggle was that there was only 1 bedside light. Given that there are 2 power sockets at each side of the...

Central location Lovely staff Unnerving smell of chip fat outside and in the reception. My 9 year old said it smelled like fried noodles from a Chinese takeaway - children say what they see / smell. Room was good - a nice size with a nice ensuite shower room. When we arrived it was freezing but I managed to close...
