We had a great meal at the Old North Inn, macaroni cheese was fab and the home-made chips were particularly good, my husband had the a lamb roast dinner with all the trimmings, generous portions. A very hospitable welcome on arrival. Thank you very much.

Having eaten here a few months ago and not having a great meal (vegetarian burger too greasy and a bit tasteless) I came again tonight with family member who lives nearby. After a few drinks in the public bar from yesteryear (beer was exceptional but decor was pants) we ventured through and I simply had to review as the 'Balboa...

It's an old Inn just 6 miles away from Inverness centre. Fair price for a good stay, very old building but the rooms are clean and tidy, good size. Be careful to avoid the room number 5 'cause it's very noisy 'cause it's just above the pub and you can't sleep until the pub closes, after 1:00 am. Unfortunately we...

Ate here one evening and whilst the food was really nice the waitress who may have been having a bad day, did nothing to make ours better. No smiles, when we notified her one of the children's meals was missing, blamed the kitchen staff! An apology would have been enough, you don't apportion blame. Would have returned as we liked...

Lovely little pub downstairs, classic and what you expect for in the country.Well stocked bar and friendly, quick serving staff. We stayed overnight in room 4 which was freezing!! The bathroom window needs fixing as we could see outside and it was definitely chilly! Basic toiletries provided which was all that was needed and were fine. Spotlessly clean just cold....

Me, my partner and our dog stayed here for one night as our first stop before beginning the NC500. The room was clean and fantastic for what we paid, and perfect for a one night stay! The food was outstanding: we ordered burgers during the evening and they were delicious, breakfast the next morning was great too! All the staff...

Visited this pub recently as we are staying in the Highlands for New Year. The food was superb, the kids had fresh chicken strips and chips, huge portions and ginormous chips! We had the Chicken with BBQ sauce and mozzarella. Really couldn't fault it at all!

We had a fantastic meal here with great service. I'd definitely recommend the Old North Inn to everyone. They serve real chips, not frozen ones. Staff were very attentive without being intrusive. They also have a huge car park so there's always plenty of space to park.

This is a pub restaurant we have known over the years for family gatherings and visits. On our recent stay with relatives in Inverness we visited this pub for lunch with a 94 year old Uncle who lives just a few hundred yards from this pub. Our niece was reluctant to go here, because she said it had changed hands...

The staff here were friendly and pleasant, but the room was a disappointment really. The beds creaked whenever you moved, and the flooring creaked too. The toilet lid seemed to be almost stuck to the seat and made a terrible noise if you wanted to use the toilet! The shower was very low powered and ineffective.
