While on a long hiking weekend I was lucky enough to spend three nights at Guisachan House and I simply cannot recommend it highly enough. The house is very comfortable and clean, as was my room, and has a very welcoming lounge. The reception area is full of useful leaflets and wall maps. There is a new drying room and...

We stayed for 2 nights over a weekend whilst attending an outdoor event. The hosts (owners) were really accommodating. Happily managing our (very) early breakfast request and a room move (for a bath rather than shower). The rooms were very clean and tidy, the views from the front over the Loch are beautiful and there is a nice lounge/bar and...

Booked 2 single rooms for 1 night in Fort William before travelling on elsewhere in the Highlands. Phill and Carmen really helpful and friendly hosts. Hotel bigger than I was expecting and with more facilities e.g. lounge, bar, own car parking etc. Excellent breakfast. Great value, inexpensive accommodation. Note: Booked single rooms 10 and 11. Room 10 does not have...

We stayed here because it is close to the station and we were booked on the Jacobite steam train. What we found was a little gem. Our room was at the front so over looking the Loch ,from its elevated position we had a great view our room was great well appointed bathroom was modern clean and tidy. I just...

Guisachan is a character property set just high enough on the hill to afford a good view of the Loch below and the mountain opposite but low enough to be a mere 5 minute stroll to the train and bus stations. My single room was on the spacious side of comfortable and had a shower and WC en suite. It...

I had no plans for this night and after a long hike, I was fortunate to get a lift to this town, where I had a train ticket booked for the following day. On arrival I called many places, but they were all full, so in a state of desperation I sat in McDonalds, ate and searched online. I was...

Lovely place to stay with amazing views for breakfast. A USB charging point in the room was very useful. As with virtually every hotel or B&B I've ever stayed at, I wish the glasses for fruit juice in the morning were not thimble sized, it just means I have to go back up 4 times!

My husband and I stayed at Guisachan Guesthouse in September 2016. We were warmly greeted by the host, and led through a very beautiful lounge area, with nice windows. The view was great. However, we had a few issues with this guesthouse. First, the bed was too short for my husband, who is 6' 2". Second, the walls are so...

We stayed here at the end of the West Highland Way and were very pleased. A warm friendly welcome awaited us and the owner was very helpful. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious with fantastic views! Worth a visit

The location is great: central with great views. The owner was so pleasant; because they had vacancies, he let us look around and change our reservation without penalty (we originally had a large family room, we ended up switching to two rooms). The breakfast was hearty and well served. The beds were comfortable. Definitely recommend!!

Thank Kelly H
