Great place for a couple of nights or so. Can arrive by train, bus or car as the guest house is close to the train station. Great if you intend to take the Tourist Steam Train (Hogwart's Express) Catherine is a wonderful host, rooms are clean and cosy, ensuites and lounge room. Breakfast was huge

Stayed here with a friend for one night while on a Motorcycle trip in early October. I have stayed here on numerous occasions in the past (probably over a period of about 20 years)! Why do I keep coming back? Simple, this place ticks all the boxes for me, nice rooms, comfy beds, clean and tidy, great breakfast and most...

The owner is very welcoming and friendly. The room is quite ancient but very clean and cosy. Breakfast is very good as well. The parking is big so it is very easy to let the car. The city centre is near, more or less 5 minutes from the guest house and we can find there a good choice of restaurants.

We felt very welcomed by these wonderful ladies. Great location close to the train station and local bus stops. Comfortable rooms. Fantastic breakfast. Everything I remember about the highland trips of my youth.

Catherine was so accommodating and hospitable! The rooms were very clean. Breakfast was great! Catherine helped us with directions and restaurant advice! House has cozy feeling. Parking for our car out back was a big plus! Beautiful front garden! Will stay here again!

After abandoning a tent to Skye, we decided to stay in a b n b and found Ben View really welcoming, warm and convenient. The landlady was friendly and helpful, the room was really clean, had a really hot shower, was well priced, and comfy bed. There is no wifi, but we didn't need it anyway. The breakfast was brilliant,...

We enjoyed our stay which was a last minute booking and the proprietor kindly recommended other Guest Houses for the remainder of our stay as she had previous bookings. The room was comfortable and the Guest House had a lovely atmosphere and reflected the fact that you were in Scotland.

Rooms very outdated and definitely not clean. The B&B does not offer any wifi. Breakfast is ok. Owner not very welcoming. Place definitely needs an update!!! Would not return or recommend! Walking distance to city, this is at least one good point.

We felt like this was a boarding house. No flexibility. In 2015 no wifi as the owner doesn't have a computer and can't see the need to provide access to it for guests. Tiny room on a busy road. We were on a bike ride and our bikes were left out in the open locked to a tree. Nice lady...
