Well what can I say. I spent a weekend here with fellow professional working friends. He has Macallan 10yr old on optic, and the room was very modern. Friendly hard working local owner/manager who was very helpful indeed and cooked a fantastic breakfast for us all in the evening. 5 stars from me, immaculate, good old style traditional bar, excellent...

After a serious traffic accident blocked the A82 meaning I couldn't make it home, I fortunately got a room here. Very hard to find any accommodation and was looking at sleeping in car. I turned up here and asked the owner if he had any rooms. He is an incredibly nice man and managed to provide a single room. For...

We were looking for somewhere to have a snack lunch and the lady from the Treasures of the earth museum suggested we try it. "Ignore the decor" she said. Well the decor is 60/70s and doesn't seem to have had anything done to it since then. We were the only ones in the bar, and then a little old man...

It is low cost so let's not expect to much. Good... clean comfortable beds, lots of hot water and friendly owner. Bad... This place is fixed in the sixties, no wifi, limited sockets, shared bathroom, old furniture, peeling wallpaper, poor menu, breakfast only after 9, doors locked after 23:00. I'm not saying avoid but last resort. The owner is obviously...

some work mates and myself have been staying here recently, the elderly gentleman/owner has no respect for privacy, the food is dreadful as are the 2 upstairs communal bathrooms, the wallpaper is so damp its falling off of the walls, however that could just be the papers way of begging to be re done, to put it bluntly if ever...

After traveling up from Lancashire to travel on the Jacobite we called in for a late tea and a pint, what a shock when we walked in talk about a step back in time, the old man behind the bar was very friendly and to be fair the pint of lager was good, the decor in the place was very...

Visited this hotel last year for a drink, old fashioned outdated furniture, threadbare carpet which was patched up, you'd think you were walking into 1950, Could not believe this elderly couple charge £600 per week to stay in this dump, well needs re_vamping!!!

My girlfriend and I stopped by for a pint and met the barman who was also the owner who delighted us with stories about his family and the local history. Whilst we intended on only having a pint, we stayed for 2 as it was great having a chat with him. If you're in corpach, go for a drink here...
